Apr 17, 2016 I'm from a heavily Asian area (Flushing, Queens) but I can't f--- with any of this. If I don't understand more or less what I'm hearing, it's just not going to work. Oddly enough, I used to listen to Jin and Chan. Both started out as American, English speaking rappers but when they failed to really pop in the US, they went back to China and South Korea (respectively) and started making music there and both found success. Jin as a solo act and Chan as part of Uptown.
Apr 17, 2016 Well really many Asian Artist tried to get big in America i havent seen any Asian Artist who made it. There is a another Artist Right Now trying named CL a female Rapper. She is already cool with Asap Rocky,Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg etc and she has a song with Og Maco and Riff Raff. She hangs around has some songs with Major Lazer (ok mostly Diplo and Skrillex) and she managed Right by the Guy who manages Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande so the path is set she just failed to use these people and gain momentum to collab on their albums or do at least one song. For exemple on Purpose or at least a stand alone single The Fashion World already love her. The biggest issue is she sounds like a korean niki minaj and rihanna... You know what happend with Iggy
