May 21, 2016 I mean a racist gonna hate blacks, a islamophobic person gonna hate Muslims. Sexists hate feminists more than anything else. Why?
May 21, 2016 because modern feminism is really sexist and kind of religious in the way they essentialize men and women. It's a dangerous ideology that pretends to be progressist while it's reactionary as f---
May 21, 2016 People who have devoted their entire existence to hating on feminism are a lot more cringeworthy than any internet feminist at this point
May 21, 2016 There is a select group of r-----s who've dedicated their time to hating on "feminism", but what they're actually usuallly hating on is a rather s-----y vocal minority group of tumblr-esque faux feminists that they mistake for the entire real movement. It's sad on both sides of that, but actual feminism is still alive and well in the world in spite of this. Inb4 kings comes in to throw around terminology and big words he really can't use
May 21, 2016 Being feminist means equal rights for every gender. "Feminists" generally women believe that it means they can do or say anything to the other gender and that somehow it only should work one way. Tbh i don't even think most feminists even know what feminism is. I think the term should be completely replaced with the word "humanitarian". Equal rights for everyone and saving all human beings.
May 21, 2016 Feminism has lost all its meaning thanks to the activists behind the movement It's just plain sad and not worth the conversation
May 21, 2016 Just because you hate third wave, radical feminism, doesn't mean you're sexist. Nice try though.
May 21, 2016 If we follow your logic then every single kind of association that fight for human rights (anti-rascism/islam apologists) should be named that way. Feminism fights for women's right, because women are WAY MORE discriminated than us in our society, so its name makes sense. "Humanitarian" doesn't make any sense as a name as long as we haven't met any aliens. Oh and I think Mysoginism is one of the most present and unconscious form of discrimination today. Most of the time people arguing that Feminism should be called a way it doesn't indicate that it defends women just don't realize what they have to endure everyday. PS: I'm a man and i'm feminist
May 21, 2016 I don't know how you can say that women are discriminated against in any meaningful way. Yes people treat men different than women, and that's because of gender roles. Men and women are different biologically, and that's why gender roles exist. Now, if those roles are genuinely impeding a women's ability to succeed in the work force for example, then yes, that's sexist. But I have a hard time believing women are this underprivileged class when they have higher enrollment in university, are graded better, and find jobs easier. No other class of people in the history of the world has had those characteristics and been considered discriminated against.
May 21, 2016 I see what your saying, but things are changing that may have been true in the first world years in the past. But as of right now a women can just fake accusations against us and we will be held accountable just because we are men and we're capable of hurting them. And let's not even get into the argument of what a women can do to a man financially. If men were to start an activist group we'd probably be labeled sexist It should work both ways in today's society
May 21, 2016 Men activist groups DO exist, and they are always labeled sexist. They are even banned from many campuses.
