Feb 17, 2015 Make sure to join the user group CountryMusic to receive any group messages about albums and such. We had a thread on SL but that died with the site. Hopefully some of the guys from that thread made there way over to here. Lately I been listening to the new Love & Theft album. It's nothing great, but it's a solid album. The title track "Whiskey On My Breath" is my top track of 2015 so far and it's gonna be hard to top. Also went to see Garth Brooks a little over a week ago. One of the best shows I've ever seen. If he's coming to your city and you are debating on going, take your a--- to that show; You won't regret it. He's 53 but is running around that stage like he's still in his 20's. His voice was shot by the end of the concert because it was his 6th show in 4 days. The only thing that stopped him from keeping the show going another hour that night was how bad his voice was. Most performers wouldn't have even tried but he kept going and put on a h--- of a show. Not my video but this is the opening from the show I went to. Seeing him perform "Friends In Low Places" live is an experience.
Feb 19, 2015 Every winter i always steer away from Country for some reason, might have to do with the 6 feet of snow on the ground. Still listening to the FGL album though. Literally every artist had an album come out in the Summer so theres been a dry spell. Still anticipating the s--- out of the Montgomery Gentry album, whenever that drops.

Mar 5, 2015 I'm going to see Garth Brooks on Satuday. I surprised my girl with tickets in Buffalo for the 6:00 show. She's been dying to see him. I'll probably be the only hip hop head there. Expanding my horizons!

Also wikipedia is pretty good about keeping the release dates, had no idea about an Eli Young Band EP or Easton Corbin/Will Hoge albums http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_in_country_music You would be surprised. I personally listen to all types of music and know a lot of other ppl who do as well. Listening to the same genre of music like hip hop, over and over again gets stale as f---.
Mar 5, 2015 I've just never dove into country at all. I listen to other genres than hip hop. I have every White Stripes and Jack White abum. The Black Keys, Sam Smith, Elton John, Metallica are dope to me as well. I'm looking forward to the Garth concert on Saturday. I'm listening to some of his stuff on Youtube right now. My girl loves George Strait and Eric Church...they are her favorites with Garth. I'll check out their stuff too.

Mar 5, 2015 Even if you don't like his music, he puts on one h--- of a show and is an amazing entertainer. The crowd is very into it and it's like one big singalong. Seeing Friends in Low places live will definitely get you at least interested in country music, that may have been the best moment out of any of the concerts I've gone to.

Mar 8, 2015 Thoroughly enjoyed the Garth Brooks concert. He puts on a very good show. Crowd was nuts!! Trisha Yearwood was solid, too. I didn't know she sang the "How do I live" song from Con Air.
