May 5, 2016 ive listened to the actual album way more than i want to, but its helped me make this following tracklist. i removed a lot of hardcore drake fan's favorite tracks because for people less enamored with him his corny writing is half the reason we press skip. so i tried to limit those. cuz drake really does have some gems scattered throughout this record he just took himself too seriously..not to mention the bloated track list is probably because of the massive numbers he's trying to do i think the dmx samples hilarious so i kept u with me, even tho the p---- c verse is what got faithful cut from my tracklist (despite dvsn being great on that track). if i was being even more critical, id take out fire & desire and u with me, but i dont think it would flow as well. the follow 13 song tracklist i made tho flows REALLY well so much easier to digest and actually highlights some of drake's strongsuits. i think one dance and controlla are amongst 2 of the best things he's ever done it still follows the "season" theme but its just way more focused...it goes summer, interlude, winter, a slight turn back to summer at the end my friend wanted me to do this for him cuz he couldnt stand the actual album and im glad i did. ill probably actually play this entire playlist front to back anyways, here: 1. U With Me? 2. Controlla 3. One Dance 4. Too Good 5. With You 6. Summer's Over Interlude 7. 9 8. Hype 9. Still Here 10. Grammys 11. Pop Style 12. Fire & Desire 13. Hotline Bling summer's over --> 9 ---> hype lmk if u try it out/like it
May 5, 2016 Not bad @Narsh but I definitely wouldn't cut Keep The Family Close, Weston Road Flows or Redemption. I do think Hype & Pop Style were out of place on the official tracklist.
May 5, 2016 All my money says that had @WPG not dismissed Faithful because of p---- C's appearance it wouldn't even have been an issue here lol Reducing the album to ten or eleven tracks is the only way to go, and even then it falls short of his previous two

Weston Road Flows 8. Redemption 9. Still Here 10. Controlla 11. One Dance 12. Hotline Bling 13. Too Good 14. Summers Over Interlude 15. Views Cut - With You, Faithful, Grammys, Childs Play, and Fire & Desire. Pop Style & Hotline Bling feel out of place on the original track list, I think the album would flow much better with them at 5 & 12. I love Faithful's hook & dvsn but Drake's verse isn't anything special. I love his Grammys verse, the song overall doesn't really fit with the rest though. I wish he just added his verse into Hype.
