    Ice cubes decline is insane after his first couple of albums but I'm gonna check this song out soon who knows
    Recently went back and listened to his first few albums and they're classic wish he'd go back and remaster them

    Ice cube is top 5 ever. His first three to four albums were classics. He even had big hits in the 2000s. Also the best diss of all time is from him. Nwa declined after his departure. He got f----- by the rap industry for being smart and doing bad comedy movies for money. This song is classic and he should drop another album for the haters.

    Cubes a legend 100% some dudes can drop total duds and still can't be untouched/be iconic that's cube IMO

    Nice tune. Ice Cube is most enjoyable when you don’t pay attention to his lyrics and just vibe to it because he talks absolute nonsense.

    I feel as if that's far from the truth though or maybe just the case for his later work? His older s--- is very focused didn't really care for this song but even then it seemed focus with topic

    He writes mostly political content but it never makes sense.

    His newer albums writing has definitely gotten worse. His technical ability is also nonexistent so it’s not like he’s sacrificing content for wordplay/rhyming etc.

    The production especially the mixing on his latest album is phenomenal though.

    I need to spend more time with this album. I was horribly, horribly disappointed with it when it dropped so I just skimmed over it and never really gave it another chance. Looks like I'm missing something!

    He did! His first 4 albums were all "digitally remastered".

    I had the originals and the remasters on CD but sold them all when I was laying for my wedding 10 years ago. :emoji_slight_frown:

    Jesus I f---ing Apple Music they only have the originals happen to have a link to the remastered ones? One of the greatest hits albums have some older songs that either sounded remastered or re recorded

    DL would've been nice but I think the Apple Music versions are the remastered versions which is kind of surprising
