Because while “hands up, don’t s---t” stemmed from Ferguson, it became a symbolic chant for the entire BLM movement. It doesn’t just pertain to this one incident. It’s symbolism.

It negates anything you have to say about this incident because you clearly don’t even know the basic facts. You’re pushing racist bs to try to justify the shooting of an 18 year old black guy. The Ferguson police department was found guilty of racial discrimination against African-Americans via a DOJ civil rights investigation.

No, its racist to push lies to try to paint Brown as this senseless “thug.” Media ran that bs robbery headline for months after Ferguson & you’re a living example of how that propaganda sticks. Him not having his hands up doesn’t justify the shooting. This shooting isn’t any where close to being as black & white as you’re making it out to be. The officer’s story is extremely difficult to believe & there’s no eye-witness testinony to support how the altercation between him & Brown started. There’s multiple moments where the officer seemingly contradicts his own account of what happened. Not to mention, even the Feds couldn’t verify officer wilson’s “recollection” of how the altercation started. Forgive me if I don’t feel the need to give an officer who’s part of a police department that has proven to have a long history of racial discrimination & targeting of African-Americans, the benefit of the doubt.
