Nov 11, 2017 I appreciate when musicians are honest about their opinions, but he would never get away undermining Jay Z like that and that's a fact, reason being Hip Hop Community. But since Eminem is white and an "outsider", guess it's fine. But again, this is the dude who believes Relapse is Em's best project so his opinion on the song hardly affects mine.
Nov 11, 2017 Part of me agrees that this is a s--- song and part of me disagrees I can’t make up my mind
Nov 11, 2017 Lol Tyler the Creator hates everything by Eminem that isn't some horrorcore bs. Dude is trash
Nov 11, 2017 Trash opinion. His feelings with Relapse are spot-on though. But he also thought that was garbage when he first heard it. So maybe he'll change his mind in a year.
Nov 11, 2017 To me? Yes. Enjoyed it on a level I haven't enjoyed an Eminem song in a long time. I felt him on this, Monster, eh not so much Haven't listened to Monster more than 10 times, already listened to WOW for about 30-35 times now
Nov 11, 2017 He’s talked about how he doesn’t like a bunch of huge black hip hop artists you dork “In search of did more for me than Illmatic”
Nov 11, 2017 It's not that Tyler calls Em's music trash because he is white, but that any criticism towards him is more acceptable because of the color of his skin. And if you deny that Em is often sidelined in the Hip Hop community because of his skin color, then you're being delusional. If Jay Z did what Em did on Walk on Water, critics would be on his d-ck right now I didn't know having an opinion here makes you "dork"
Nov 11, 2017 not sure about the message, Shady acting unsure about himself is weird, it’s uncomfortable. Honest, yeah. The acapella flow isn’t my thing either. Maybe I’m missing something. I’m wary of being the type of hyper critical fan he appears to be moaning about on this song so maybe I’ll just chalk it off and wait for the album Best bit about this song is the ‘verse I haven’t spit yet’ bit. I hope the song fits in the context of the album, like @EminemBase has been saying, his last 2 records have felt like a collection of unconnected songs whereas Kendrick in particular has got great acclaim for building albums cohesively. Maybe he’s going for that, especially with the ending.
