Feb 9, 2024 Remasters are getting tiring as of late, but it feels like more are inevitable. The most recent example of a remaster I can think of is The Last of Us Part II Remastered… it barely looks different because it was released near the end of the PS4’s life cycle and graphics really haven’t improved much since then. It’s cool though because it added an addictive roguelike survival mode that highlights the satisfying gameplay, and you can upgrade for $10 if you own the PS4 version. Although, they should’ve called it a Director’s Cut instead of a remaster as many people feel like the game didn’t need a remaster. What games do you feel like truly deserve a remaster? There’s so many great classics out there that have been remastered in recent times like the original Spyro and Crash trilogies or the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games.
Feb 9, 2024 Plenty of stuff they haven't remastered yet - Gears 2 and 3 - Infamous 1 and 2 - Original God Of Wars - Killzone 2 and 3 - Little Big Planet 1 and 2 - Resistance trilogy I prefer new games though

Feb 10, 2024 Square hates FFVIII. They have disrespected it for decades. VIII & IX really deserved remakes Underground 2 was dope, but I don't expect much from EA anymore, they really s---. I want a Black Ops remaster, same game, better graphics.

Feb 10, 2024 I just miss the classic COD vibes that have been lost for so long. I expect to buy COD this year though, last year I ended up spending the money on Spider-Man 2 instead.
Feb 10, 2024 Yeah they’re never recapturing that magic again. They’ve done too much to ruin the games these days with all the microtransactions, SBMM and other weird matchmaking algorithms, s-----y campaigns, the list goes on. MWIII was some copy and paste patchwork type s--- so you really didn’t miss much. The campaign was short and horrible with almost no structure or actual storyline whatsoever. The multiplayer and zombies was mostly just a bunch of maps and other s--- copy and pasted from past games. There’s nothing original about MWIII… and that’s saying something considering COD hasn’t been original in a long time. This is a new low.
