Feb 9, 2020 I initially made this years ago but have recently updated it. It's an edited version of Devil's Night with all D12 songs and verses removed (except the edit-unfriendly These Drugs), plus some bonus tracks. All intros, outros and hooks were left in so the tracks still sound like songs (even if short ones) instead of lazy cuts. This is a "what if" album, intended to tease your imagination with the idea of what Devil's Night might have sounded like if it was an Eminem album. If you downloaded it the first time and liked it, you'll definitely want this updated version. I've made the following changes: - All songs except the freestyle were edited from genuine FLAC files and converted to Apple Lossless instead of MP3s - Cuts that weren't smooth before are now perfect (Revelation) or as close to perfection as you can probably get (Fight Music, p---- Like Me) - American Psycho now has all three versions of the hook - Added Bad Influence with the first two "dummy verses" (as Eminem called them) removed, leaving just the third verse which fits the album's theme better - Added Eminem's Devil's Night promo freestyle - Added the snippet of Everybody's Looking at Me from The Kiss skit from TES. The skit part still makes some sense here since the next song is about Kim. - p---- Like Me ends when Eminem says "But I love you, Kim" - Replaced the spoken intro and outro of Blow My Buzz with the instrumental - Replaced Bizarre's rambling in the outro of Pistol Pistol with the instrumental Notes: - Bizarre was cut out of Amityville - Pistol Pistol serves as a sort of intro to Amityville ("Welcome to Amityville") - "So when the cops come knocking" in s--- Can Happen and "Sorry cops, f---ing pigs" at the end of Pistol Pistol are uncensored
Feb 9, 2020 If he made a solo album in this era instead of Devil's Night it would have been his best.
Feb 10, 2020 If Eminem made a solo album instead of devils night and 8 mile it would of been the absolute holy grail of hip hop .
Feb 11, 2020 Devils night is a great album, people just love to hate d12. There are a few s--- bizarre verses (like p---- like me), but other than that it's fantastic
Feb 11, 2020 It would have been another classic for sure if he made another album with his verses on Devil's Night album. Gotta mention the production tho, Devil's Night production was really great...
Feb 12, 2020 Album is fine as it is. I honestly listen to this more often than any of Eminems solo albums.
Feb 12, 2020 Guarentee if he rapped like this now, people would be like WHY IS HE ALWAYS SHOUTING lol.
Feb 12, 2020 Nah. I can’t rock with this. “Devils night” is a personal classic for me. It was Em in between of MMLP and right before TES was made. This was Em at his highest level. And yet, D12 as a collective all killed it. And I know some don’t like Bizzare but to me he was that extra icing on the cake. 2020 being older his lines hit harder now. Not like “d--- that was ill” but more so like “What the f---?” Lol. I’m definitely grown up now. But that’s why I still love it. He added that extra layer that made them stand out. Plus, the production on this is stupid. Jesus. I can’t take off any verse. I feel you though. Rock on
Feb 15, 2020 I can't stand Eminem on this album anymore. There are some dope cuts: "Words Are Weapons", "American Psycho", "Pistol Pistol", "p---- Like Me", "Nasty Mind"...but Eminem on this album? Just doesn't do it for me. I mostly listen to D12 whenever I bump any of these songs. Specifically Swifty and Proof, always felt they were the best in the group. I think it's just the fact his verses are too shouty, and not a lot is being said. I think his peak was The Eminem Show vocally and lyrically, but The Marshall Mathers LP thematically.
