Jan 13, 2018 Maybe you DOOM just cliqued for you, or Pump's album won you over. Something to that affect. thought he was the lesser brother, but Conway has made me completely forget about Westside Gunn. These tracks aren't from 2017, but Conway's hole body of work has been in rotation for me.
Jan 13, 2018 Tbh I gained an appreciation for some of my current favorite rappers today like: Danny Brown: Cause of his unique style and spastic flows. Never heard anything so weird sound this catchy or good except Death Grips. Open Mike Eagle: Just got into man's music and it's dope. Dark Comedy and BBKSD are in the rotation heavy. MF DOOM: One of the GOATs cause of crazy lyrical ability, content, and his seamless flow is one of the things that makes him one of the best. Tyler, the Creator: Always thought he was much too immature for me, but Flower Boy then turned out to be one of my favorite rap albums of 2017. Makes me want to revisit his back catalog. Earl Sweatshirt: Wasn't a fan of his unenthusiastic flow and lazy delivery, but it grew on me. Dude can rap and I look forward to his new album. Those are the ones that come off the top of my head right now but I'm sure there's more.
Jan 13, 2018 Future because HNDRXX Young Thug because he was killing all of his features and he has been for a while. Didn't care too much for his projects though.
Jan 13, 2018 Rapper that been around for a while that finally clicked: 21 savage, Lil Uzi, Travis Scott, New rappers I got into: Tee Grizzley, Ski Mask, ---, Lil Pump, Willisfuneral, NBA youngboy
Jan 13, 2018 You are late on Earl. Amazing talent, will release an album soon, it's about f---ing time. I don't know what put me off off Tyler, whatever it was, it grew on me. Can't listen more than 30 mins to him tho, then his voice gets annoying af.
Jan 13, 2018 NBA Youngboy Young Nudy Kodak Black Chief Keef (Already knew he was the goat but thot breaker made me realize just how talented he is) Lucki (Again, loved him since I heard Body High but Watch my Back one of the most fire projects all the way through I have heard in a while)
Jan 13, 2018 Honestly only the tee grizzley collab album but I've been meaning to check out his solo s---. Where should I start?
Jan 13, 2018 'Signed to the streets' is probably his most popular but I think his best is '300 days 300 nights', start with either of those
Jan 13, 2018 Not a rapper, but Japanese Breakfast finally clicked for me late into the year and I've been enamoured since.
Jan 13, 2018 Lil Wayne since I heard Dedication 6. I never listened to any of his albums before because didn't liked some songs on Youtube lel and always saw people hating on him everywhere so I never wanted to go further
Jan 14, 2018 6lack Although he's not a rapper lol His album came out at the end of 2016 so I consider it a 2017 album. And it's my personal album of the year.
