I'm updating my resume right now, pretty much doing it over and adding in more things ,etc. What skills/abilities would ya'll suggest that are must haves on every resume? I'm applying to work at a gym. Also, is it a good idea putting down you're a sponsored athlete?

EDIT: Meant to put "on" instead of "of," can someone fix the title? Lol

Umm, I wouldnt know what to put for a gym, perhaps previous sports you've been involved with? And of course your education and previous work and volunteer experiences.

Depends on the job itself...you always want to highlight skills or experience you have that make you a good fit for the job. If you're doing sales than obviously highlight any sales experience or working with people in general. If you're bringing a resume to clean the locker rooms let them know you love looking at sweaty d----s and you should get the job

I have a friend who used to do sales at a gym. I'm pretty sure they didn't care about his resume at all. They probably want to see you have experience talking to people, but in a position like that they look at how you carry yourself in an interview. You have to be super Alpha and show you're not afraid to d-ck someone over basically. It's one of those jobs that have a quick turn around cause not a lot of people last. I'd keep checking back
