Jun 4, 2017 Games. For many of us, much of our childhood consisted of three things: Being an annoying shitkid, searching ''boobies'' on Google, and of course, playing video games. But what game or games was it that defined your childhood? What game(s) is it that you remember playing the most and having the most fun with? Write it/them up and explain fam. For me, it was Runescape. And what a f---ing game it was. I was a huge console gamer aswell, but this web browser based legandary game held my attention for years. I was bad at it, I created hundreds of account, I never got a 99 skill or a party hat, but I had so much fun with it. And the great thing is, I can still play it today and there's still a huge Old School RS community that's extremely active. I'm thinking of creating a new account and buying membership soon. So, what game defined your childhood?

Jun 4, 2017 NBA street and Def Jam FFNY. i still remember eating oatmeal downstair trying to learn a new move while my mom would watch soap operas. All my siblings were in middle school or elementary school at that time.
Jun 4, 2017 Never got to play that game, but always watched the cutscenes and gameplay on YouTube. always found it so cool that rappers were in a game like that. Before I discovered torrenting and got GTA SA, I always played Simpsons and pretended to GTA. Running people over and s---. It was a fantastic game though. And when I got SA, I hardly played the story, I just modded the game to change the models to modern real cars and s---. When I think about it, I spent so much time on that game doing absolutely nothing.
Jun 4, 2017 I played Runescape for years... always had the same account and eventually I ended up getting max combat and 99 fishing I had like (2200 skill total) and then I sold my account for $90. My friend still plays and he sent me a text this week telling me to make an account on Old RS lol I can't say I would wanna start all over but the only reason I quit that game is because of the combat rehaul they did. I would probably still play RS 07 but I would wanna get my account back if possible just for novelty sake. GTA San Andreas Zelda Majoras Mask / Oracles / Ages Final Fantasy 7 / 9 Kingdom Hearts Metal Gear Solid 3 Morrowind Age of Empires 1 / 2 Diablo 2 I'm sure there's others but I sunk hundreds of hours into those games growing up
Jun 4, 2017 madden during the ps2 era. i actually played in a local madden league called the EMFL (elite madden football league). each person would own an NFL team and you would have to go to that persons house and play them---or they would have to come to your house---depending on who had home-field advantage for that particular week. but first, you had to go and pick up the memory card (remember those ) because that's what we kept the franchise on. they even gave out trophies and depending on how good you did, you could also win money. i also played in the madden challenge back in 2004 and i won it for the state of wisconsin honorable mentions: goldeneye, wwf no mercy for nintendo 64
Jun 4, 2017 Yeah I also quit after the constant updates, and the game didn't really feel like runescape anymore. don't think it's possible to get your old account on rs07 though, sadly. Would also love to log back on there and use my old accounts. lmao that sounds fun as h---. Shoutout to Goldeneye though, another classic for sure.

Jun 4, 2017 ah, I see. I got a sudden urge to grab an emulator and play it now. I don't think I ever finished it because I had a rip in my disc that made me unable to get past a certain point in the game.
Jun 4, 2017 Can't say I found the same enjoyment in Vice City as I did with San Andreas, but still a fantastic game. Definitely the greatest GTA soundtrack IMO. And NFS Underground Probably my favourite ever racing game. Still remember how huge of a disappointment Underground 2 was.
