    Is there any artists you feel like they need to have a big year due to lacking/bad run of projects singles/losing relevance etc.?

    Hopsin, logic, and Eminem had BIG 2017's. I would say Kanye, nas, tech n9ne, ICP, and jon Conner all need to have big years to stay relevant.

    Gucci needa chill if anything, he over-saturates himself. Last couple tapes haven't been great.

    Part of Gucci’s appeal has always been his constant output but I agree his stuff Post prison outside of a handful of songs ain’t all that. I’m hoping he can come back from that

    East Atlanta Santa was dope but apart from that nothing's been that amazing - and yeah he's always been known for his consistent drops but I think he needs to chill and take his time a bit. I'm pretty sure he's already announced another album coming in the next month too

    didnt care for Drop Top Wop? felt like that was a standout post prison tape & that he was on his A game whole way through especially over that fkn lifechanging production Metro laid out for him.

    agreed on him oversaturating tho, he's boutta put out Evil Genius which'll be his second studio album he's put out in the span of half a year lol. makes me excited & scared

    agreed with this, Drop Top Wop is peak Gucci.I don't think he's released anything overtly trash since his comeback but yeah he might benefit by taking some time to work on the next one.
