    How is it that Eminem is the only artist in this forum that members make fun of for everything he does, why he does the things he says he does, why one line can mess up a song, why the way he flows is awful in songs, his hats, his weight, can anyone explain why I only see people bashing him for the things he does or wears etc

    I don't see people doing it to other artists, let himself be, he has gone through a lot in life as we know already by songs, he just wants to rap & do his own thing, can anyone explain to me why it matters so much?

    His whole serious fake conscious gimmick he's been on since 2010, but mostly how trash his fanbase has turned, it's now 90% white middle schoolers who think he's "saving hip hop".

    He's not the only one. Hopsin and Logic get made fun of 24/7 on this forum when they are actually dope. So much unwarranted hate, they can't catch a break no matter what they do

    All of my qualms with Marshall post hiatus can be summed up w/ three major points

    1) artistically and musically I just feel for the most part he is cheap-- in an age where people like Kendrick are rapping over an album of cohesive jazz instrumentals Eminem is using generic radio beats. Yuck. And he literally and I mean literally copy-pastes popstar radio hooks into his tracks. Then does that CORNY 'lead into hook' thing. There is no excuse for this.

    2) he adopted a punchline style of rapping around Recovery era and it's just horrible. Never been his strong suit, he says legitimately dumb things and even worse these lines creep into every song even supposedly serious and emotional ones.

    3) his obsession with intricate complex flows and rhyming has just taken away from the overal enjoyment of his music. I don't care if the flow is technically good (don't want to get into that), but to me and a lot others it is just a chore to listen to and not aesthetically pleasing.


    And imo Eminem is simply behind the curve on these three things and it gives everyone including myself ammo to diss him

    Not really sure. it is weird. Like no one made fun of chance last night for doing some weird s--- and dressing like a 3 year old

    U mentioned why not move on and discuss other artists..well obviously I do that. But as I said Em is the most talked about on the website so that's why people that don't like his new stuff talk in Em sxn, it is most active on the website

    If he is your favorite artist, you wouldn't nitpick what he does, you will accept him for the way he is.

    @Cringe why are the Dallas Cowboys the most talked about and nitpicked football team of the past 15-20 years?

    They haven't won a Super Bowl, why can't everyone just move on and talk about other teams


    They're the Cowboys, the most popular football team and biggest talking point lol so of course everyone is gonna say what they think of the Cowboys

    I don't really agree with that. You're not supposed to just accept whatever your favorite artist releases. You're not supposed to just accept anything, being critical of stuff like music is healthy for anyone

    To a certain extent maybe but you’ve got to be realistic still

    Em is my fav artist but I’m not oblivious to the fact he isn’t perfect lol
