I'll finish reading this later, and edit my thoughts as RDR is one of my favourite games from PS3 so I'm sure I will agree with your points.

But for a heads up if you want to do spoilers so they hide type this without the spaces:

EDIT: Very good post indeed. The game was very special. Even the strangers you encountered. Helping them out. I remember there was 1 that I didn't finish but tried for many hours to complete... I think it was where you needed to trade a white horse to aslave owner so he would release the husband to a wife? I could be wrong as it's been many years since I played. But d---! I went to the ranch and tried breaking in as many horses as I could hoping eventually a white one of the proper race would show up.

The dead wife with flowers one was good, freaked me out lol.

s well the Undead Nightmare dlc was amazing to. Loved when you had to

Go help the family by trying to find their daughter... you find her and need to escape. You're riding your horse and kind of go through a little valley... as you do there's zombies EVERYWHERE, the music tenses as you just keep riding through

the atmosphere of that part was perfect.

Amazing game indeed. Always one of the ones I recommend for anyone who just got a PS3. I'm glad I bought it and didn't dismiss it as a western GTA.

I didn't even need to read your post to agree with you, but God d--- you wrote that very well. Definitely one of my all time favorite games, if not the favorite. Found myself coming back to play it earlier this month, and it still feels just as fresh.

Never beat it. Got to the last part, Canada I believe, but ended up getting busy and just was never able to get back into it.

Loved this game, lent it to my buddy a couple years back and stopped hanging out with him. Might buy it again.

Thought i heard rumors of them making another Red Dead game

Should be Rockstar's next game. That, or some sort of L.A. Noire followup.

Don't see us getting another GTA game until 2017-18 at the earliest. Gotta assume a Red Dead game is in the works to fill that gap.

I've beat it 5 or 6 times through the years, and actually just started it again a couple days ago. Hardcore mode, no radar or waypoint, total immersion into the world that is RDR.

My favorite game of all time, hands down
