Would tupac and biggie still be considered legends if they're still alive?

Yeah of course. People like to throw around the "oh they're just considered the greatest because they died" argument, but they were already considered the greatest, at the very least on their respective coasts, in their lifetimes.

Yeah. I mean eminem has been trashing his career for over a decade now and he is still considered a legend for his earlier work

Yes although I don't think either would still be active in the rap game if they were still alive.

I think Biggie would have retired by now and Pac would move on to stuff outside of music, maybe they'd release new music occasionally still. I know Pac mentioned something about dropping albums every 4-5 years when asked about his future at one point, I could see him doing something like that if he were still around today.

He probably would've done that at some point, but long term I was thinking more along the lines of he'd want to make as big of an impact as he could and not just in the entertainment world. So I think he'd have done other stuff too outside of music/movies.
