Finally dropped my 1st project, which is a concept EP inspired by the TV show Avatar: The Last Wordbender. It includes 4 spoken word "scrolls" so if you don't like spoken word/poetry feel free to skip them. This was produced/mixed entirely by my friend Kasey Beats. I've been working on this in some form for at least 6 months, and I never would've had the motivation to do this if it wasn't for the positive feedback and encouragement of some ppl on sxn80 like @Rick James so I hope some of yall enjoy it. Keep in mind that I've only been recording raps for less than a year, so my flow and delivery etc isn't all there yet

not f---ing with the flow or lyrics on the first track at all, the beats aight and this spoken word part highkey corny, you shoulda got someone with a bad a--- voice to do them.

Aight im scrolling through now and I'm not trying to be overly critical but it feels like you just started rapping and these are your first songs. You let the beat control your flow, instead of finding or going against it. Your delivery needs major work. I like the concept and think its a cool idea but I'm not going to listen to this in full because nah bruh. Earthquake hook is fire though you should try more s--- like that.

well I kinda did just start rapping not too long ago which I've said before in other threads, in reality these are my 1st legit songs. I agree my flow and delivery need work that's something I'm working on. Thanks for listening tho

This is not bad for a first project, but there's a lot of room for improvement.

Can tell just from the first track that you're very, very influenced by Kendrick. Spend some time writing and figure how to channel that influence into your own style and you'll be onto something.

I skimmed through it, will give it a full listen when I get some time, but it isnt bad for a first project. Like someone said, very kendrick influenced. Its a great start man

half in: I like your voice and flow when you are rapping, but talking and singing sounds pretty mediocre, Id try to get a better microphone, like its not your fault just the voice is pretty dull there. This is why I cant f--- with bridges etc. Other than that it is really cool and better than expected tbh, keep growing

final verdict: I really liked it, wordbender is my fav song on this.

Some issues with voice, good mic would help a lot but Id also suggest doing some practice, I used to be a part of a choir and we were doing some excersises, my voice became much more charismatic and interesting after that

Other than that: great concept and nice rhymes, good flow, good work

Ayyy man thanks so much for listening and giving feedback. It means a lot. I know my voice isn't the greatest lol it's something that bothers me constantly, I think it only sounds good when I'm real aggressive which I dont want to do all the time like meek or some s---. The spoken word s--- was recorded on a blue yeti, hopefully for my next project i can get something better (the rest was recorded in my friends studio). I definitely want to look into doing some vocal excersizes like u said, i was in a chorus in elementary thats about it lol. But glad you enjoyed it and that u liked wordbender, that song was a pain in the a--- to make lol

You can easily change your voice to fit the mood of the song, I mean don't put on another accent or nothing but do what Kendrick/Vince do.
