Apr 16, 2017 Young Thug is one of the flashier rappers around, but apparently, the money he’s spent on cars and jewelry should’ve been used to pay his mortgae. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Heritage Select Homes, LLC filed a lawsuit claiming the Jeffery artist owes upwards of $2.2 million in house payments for his home in a gated community tucked away in Georgia’s Buckhead Heights on Wednesday (April 12). The Atlanta-based pub reports Thugger signed “balloon promissory note” for the home back on Sept. 19, 2016. A balloon promissory note is meant to help keep track of and clarify the stipulations of a loan with one or more big sums paid at the end of a repayment cycle. Apparently, Thugger was supposed to pay $86,500 on Oct. 19, $86,033 on Nov. 19, $150,567 on Dec. 19, and two payments of $14,667 for January and February. On March 19–which was just under a month ago–Thugger was supposed to pay a total of $2,214,667. According to a lawsuit filed by Knight Johnson, LLC., Young Thug has yet to do so. Yikes. Thugger’s Buckhead home spans over 11,000 square-feet, and includes six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a full bar, a four-car garage and a theater. The home also has an indoor pool and a hot tub. With that in mind, it’s easy to see why someone would cop the place, but man, those bills. These charges come on the heels of Thugger beating gun and drug charges a little over a week ago, and, even more recently, flat-out ducking battery charges.
