Every year these assholes take part in a 10 day festival where they eat dogs and cats. Some 10,000 dogs and cats are expected to be killed for this. Many are stolen from their homes and caged up in over crowded crates without food or water for days then boiled alive for this b---- a--- festival. f---ing sick. Ive seen some disturbing content on the web but when it involves dogs I can't deal it it.

End rant.

Eh lets not call them assholes.


Its not an American custom that's for sure but they're not terrible people for it.


Look how cattle or pigs or especially chickens get treated here and still we eat them by the pound


Still we have food festivals and carnivals practically any excuse to fry an animal up and eat it.


Some places / people wont eat cows or pigs like how we wont eat dogs or cats.

Saw a article related to this were Chinese activists freed 1000 dogs from 6 slaughterhouses, some of these dogs even have collars on, obviously not stray's and someones pet.

something like 57% of Chinese people think its okay to eat dog meat, which is more than the population of the U.S. , Russia, England, and Germany combined.

I don't get how people say eating cows and dogs is the same thing, dogs are dubbed "man's best friend" for a reason, they're highly intelligent and will often sacrifice themselves to protect you if you're in danger.

Stop letting emotional attachment play a role in your thinking.


They are mans best friend to US.

What we feel and believe will never be the standard and way of life for everyone.

You just gotta see everything for what it truly is and not let what you already know / been told play a role.



They are animals most of decent size, over populated and easy to obtain. People are going to eat them.


Although I personally agree with you who am I to say they can't or are wrong for eating dog just because I own one as a pet.

There's also a dish popular in China called "Shark Fin Soup" where they catch sharks, cut off all their fin's and then throw them back in the water until they slowly die from not being able to swim. I don't have any personal attachment to sharks but I can see how f----- up this is.

Pigs are more intelligent than a lot of dogs. Cows are a lot more intelligent than they are assumed to be. I think @YoungThugLover is right when he says it's a different culture that views these animals the same way we view cows or pigs.

Some cultures view human's the same way we view cows and pigs, doesn't make it right.

To most people, cannibalism is one of the most terrifying concepts imaginable, but for some members of the Korowai tribe from Indonesian New Guinea, human flesh is a dish central to their culture, like a Sunday roast or a kebab at the end of a night out.

I mean.. the problem is not that they eat dogs and cats is the way they may be treated before getting killed BUT we do the same in our factories, animals are just plain tortured, one of the reasons I am debating myself about going Vegeterian as much as I can.
