Dec 27, 2018 It's just little things, the first line is too simple and you could easily make it more complex. For example - I like sharp knives > my mind is drawn to sharp knives, this gives you a near rhyme straight off the bat and then your second line seems too long but if you shortened it to you'll find me in the woods on a dark night - the rhyming just gets better and it flows better in my head. If you want to write a serial killer song, shock value isn't enough.
