Jul 5, 2021 Honestly part of it isn't even his fault, he was positioned with Dre and as the west coast 50 Cent (cast as this almost immortal/unstoppable street rapper turned mainstream rapper down to the legendary story of being shot multiple times and coming out relatively unscathed) at a time when we had no reason to think Detox was a myth and 50 Cent/Aftermath was everything in rap...which obviously gives you high as f--- expectations no matter who you are. He's a decent/competent rapper but people so badly wanted him to be something he wasn't.

Jul 5, 2021 He may not be lyrical, but I don't think you have to be lyrical to be a good rapper. My answer is obviously yes, he has good songs, bangers, and classic projects. He also proved that he didn't need 50 or Dre, and went do his own thing, unlike the rest of G-Unit
