I'm taking a chance with this game and get it. I don't know much about it except from the trailers and videos I've seen on youtube.

it's the spritual successor to demon souls, which itself was a spiritual successor to kings field and had a clone series which is the most popular, known as dark souls.

I have Demons Soul's and Dark Souls. I didn't play Dark Souls. Demons Soul's was good but didn't stay too interested. This one I can wait for that 19.99 tag.

^if it sells well which it seems like it will, I don't think that price tag will come anytime soon. I heard asscreed unity on the other hand was like $20 at target recently.

s----s getting rave reviews. That's my new m/o. Wait till prices drop on games. Picked up rivals for $12, black flag for 14, knack for 10, ratchet n clank for 10. Next game I may buy full price will be bat man and mgs. And maybe the gow remasters and bat man remasters

for seasoned veterans aka hardcore demon/dark souls fans, it's great. I was playing through the game and I thought the gameplay was fun but I'm thinking to myself, who wants to play a game when you're f---ing dead all the time

meanwhile, my friend who's played all the souls games beat the cleric beast (first boss) on his first try.

This game is good as f---. I've played for about 8 hours now and I only just beat the second boss. Its a very hard game, but when you finally k--- dudes its one of the most rewarding feelings in a game I've ever had. I recommend it, but only if you're up for a challenge.

The only bad thing I would say about it, is that since you die so frequently, the load times are a pain in the a---. They say they are going to patch it, but right now when you die you can be staring at the loading screen for almost 30 seconds.

You ever play Persona/gonna get Persona 5?

pretty cool as the newest edition to the series but i'm not digging how they pretty much removed the itemization that dark souls 2 had
yea, it's got much better gameplay but not nearly the number of items,weapons, armors, magics, etc which is disappointing

also this whole parrying thing with the gun is lame af.. it's a very streamlined souls game tbh

still having fun though since it's a new souls experience

I just saw MERC asked the same thing, do you like persona?
that's another playstation exclusive due to come out later this year. I suppose that also deserves its own thread
