Have any of you tried to create a concept album?

I'm currently in the process of penning out a few ideas and am interested to hear your experiences/opinions of concept albums

Yeaha, 99% of the projects I've put out have had been conceptually based

might b y i'm not putting together projects anymore tbh, i think i completely and totally burnt myself out on it and i'm all out of ideas for s--- to make a project about and now i'm just left with making random loosies i won't ever do anything with

also, to add to what i already said

i've sort of gotten into a bad position where i rly need vocals to fully get across the concept and tell the stories n s--- i do have left, and me not being a rapper or a singer kinda f---s that up

i envy those of u on here who can rap n s--- and really fully realize the concepts and what not you're trying to get across

i mean, i don't have even the slightest clue how to rap m8. i've never given it a real try and likely never will

Just listen to other rappers and copy their flow they all do it. Words dont have to make sense either as long as people can bump it

yea idk where to even start with something like that tho lol

i don't think it's like production where i can just learn and pick up things by hearing and work it out for myself later, or can i

like, are there rapping tutorials that break this s--- down step by step somewhere lmfao? cause i can't stay on beat when i try to rap something i wrote, and i can't seem to start my flow off either. i get too nervous and choke when i try to rap something over a beat and end up losing my place and only get like maybe a line in before it all gets f----- up

i need a ghostwriter to lay down a reference track lmao

Are you writing verses with the beat in mind and how the words will sound interacting w it? Or are you writing lyrics then trying to make it conform to whatever beat you have? Cuz second option is s--- I always see fb rappers doing that makes the music so much worse cuz their so focused on trying to impress you with words that they fail to make impressive music

his beats don't really tend to be rappable though

I think maybe start with rapping a song you know since anyone can do that no matter how awful they are. And figure how to improve your flow/delivery then worry about making beats to go with it

i've tried writing to a beat, writing and then making a beat, freestyling on a beat etc.

all of it turns out s--- and i get super nervous the second i hit record, instantly start losing my flow and fumbling my words
ye this rly doesn't help either

i already know other ppl tend to struggle to write to my production, so if they can't, me starting out is gonna be a nightmare trying to
