Do you guys think that the group ruined Eminem, Eminem was more of a serious guy in his music and more into his craft, but if you listen to a d12 album they were mostly f--king around songs and seemed like they were just there to be there and not care about the quality of music, like most of the bizarre tracks he was on with Eminem he ruined with shitty 1 or 2 lines like words or weapons

What do you guys think, do you think the era he was with d12 wouldn’t been better if he went solo?

Yes, I too would like for Marshall to take every drug he has ever taken at the same time at the age of 50. Then we would finally have the classic we've been dreaming of

you guys disgust me, he finally has his life together and you want to destory it when he's currently making the best music he has ever made? side note, the d12 albums are just em having some fun. not as good as his last two albums but like, what's wrong with making something that doesn't take itself seriously?

Nah I'd argue they kept him grounded from going completely pop. He stopped associating with them around recovery, and look what happened. Imagine doing a pink solo song and getting absolutely roasted by your boys, it wouldn't happen

They didn't help. They're a bunch of cabdrivers who would never have amounted to anything without him and I think he felt more compelled than he should have to do shit with them.

    probably.
Absolute losers who can thanks their lucky stars Eminem helped them somehow get some success.
Devil's Night as a solo album would have been so good.

LMFAO at all the losers saying they wish Em would go on 1 last drug binge and then record an album!
Anyone who has even taken drugs knows you cannot think for shit because your brain is mashed!
Em wrote Lose Yourself while on set for 8 Mile when he was not on drugs and sober!
How IRONIC his best ever track was written when he was normal!LMFAO!
Em’s first 3 albums were so amazing because he just came on the scene in the public eye and had so much to say that so many other people could relate to.
That’s Em’s biggest flaw in his music today is that after 20 plus years he run out of things to say, he has even said in interviews that he will never rap about Hallie’s life through her teenage years, no more about Nathan and stuff happening in his life right now.
MTBMB was bashed by critics because he was still rapping about his dad, stepdad, failed relationships etc that he has rapped about since 99!
He needs a new direction and sadly we never going to get it because Em is now too private!

    DAMN.

D12 was there from the beginning. He didn't start making music with them in 2001 lol. Plus, Em was never too serious with his music. Sure he cared a lot but I don't think any other rapper really cared as much as Em cares anyway. If D12 was a bad influence on Em's music, his SSLP, MMLP or TES would have sucked too. Hell, even the Devil's Night is a classic and it's a D12 album that many felt like Em was the best version of himself.

THis. Aside from the repeating content of love stories and drug stories, he is better technically than he ever was. His writing is a lot more better and even the flows that many had problem with are actually impressive as f--k. I didn't hear prime Em having dozens of different flows over a beat like he did with The Ringer. I didn't hear prime Em delivering a personal story in a more genius way and more emotionally than Castle & Arose. I never heard prime Em telling a story such as Darkness. This recent Eminem is another prime Em. Just face it already...

    This is delusional as f--k.

His flow from 99-04 is incredible, even on Encore. He had a different flow to any other rapper that came before him and rode the beat effortlessly and perfectly with great rhyming and lyricism, especially from 00-03.

Rock Bottom shits all over Castle and Arose, so does When I'm Gone, Beautiful, Deja Vu, Going Through Changes.. The last 4 way after his prime as well, and there's many more emotive songs of his that are better

Never heard prime Em telling a story better than Darkness? Take any story telling track off his first 3 albums and listen again

Music to be murdered by is a solid modern day Eminem album but we have to stop talking about him like he is anywhere close to where he was in his prime.. He's not, its straight up blasphemy to suggest so

    LMFAO!Please shut up!
Em’s Incredible Forever verse shits all over anything he did lyrically on his first 3 albums, as does his amazing 3rd verse on Bad Guy.

No. Royce did. Eminem's trajectory until mid 2010 was pretty great or at least very hopefuly and then Royce showed back up and Eminem has been abysmal ever since.
