I have to say, as obnoxious as these guys sound, the one that said "if you had the authority, you would have done something" has a point. There's a reason why those officers stopped putting hands on that guy and went back to their car.

I'll defend them, judging by the start of the vid, it's pretty clear the cops wanted to stop and search them (or some form of detainment). (common annoyance they do) you can hear one of the victims of police brutality screaming "IZ FUCKEN COLD OUTSIDE IMA WEAR WHAT I WONT MUTHA f--ka" So like, i'm assuming they were black men, with hoodies/beanie's/ski masks. So let's look at the facts: A bunch of black men, racially profiled by police, then stopped by Police, to be searched. Instead of agreeing they said f--- off and harassed the cops for a few minutes.

I'd call this situation a miracle, don't police usually straight up s---t black men?

No one should be shot by the police, only in self defense tho

Why? Because we are tired of being stopped on the street, or pulled over and interrogated by cops for 30 mins to an hour, just so they can say/do nothing and f--- off?

Obviously only in self defense or to protect the public. I think everyone would agree with you.
Because it's obviously not how you treat people in authority positions regardless of if you respect them or not and if you don't understand that, it really doesn't surprise me that people get shot by the police. If you think that is the smart way to prove a point against authority, you're an idiot.

It's not proving a point lmao. It's expressing frustration/anger and reacting to a situation.

Maybe if you learn to treat authority figures with respect you won't get harassed.

First off, you have ZERO idea why the cops stopped them. Second, if a cop stops you, for WHATEVER reason, you comply. It makes it a trillion times easier for both of you. Everyone, white/black/asian/mexican/whoever, has run into an a------ cop. We deal with it by rolling our eyes, but doing what they ask because like it or not, they are in a position of authority. Don't act like a knobhead, let them search you (which takes like 30 seconds) and be on your way.

I wasn't being fully srs in my first post, probably wasn't clear enough with just the ski mask comment. (ofc 3 people wearing ski masks at night would get stopped)
And what you said is pretty much how i've dealt with them. though the last time, (4th or 5th) time I was stopped by them, (on the way walking to the shops which is less than 10 mins away.) I was like "i know you're just doing your job but I've been pulled up like 4 times now and every time it's because I've been walking to the shops, here's my ID"
all they said was "yeah it's a bad area" Then did the usual s---. This was a few years ago mind you, but that s--- is irritating enough for me to understand these people over-reacting especially taking into consideration all the recent #Blacklivesmatter thing. But like you said, nobody knows why they were even stopped or the events before.
