Eminem is right, a hip hop album is never gonna win AOTY at the grammy, it has never happened (the 2 albums that won weren't even hip hop tbh, they were crossover records)

kendrick deserves it but like mystik said, a very popular white artist is always gonna take it over any hip hop artist

Well, Kanye West has 21 grammys, Nas has 0, Taylor has 7 or something like that. The grammys are about popularity and mainstream impact Thats why I usually dont understand the outrage afterwards.

I agree with Mr. Mathers, because in today's society, we have learned through experience that what is considered popular music is not necessarily quality, and Kendrick's spot will no doubt be taken by a well-known artist such as Taylor Swift, with her multi-platinum "1989" album or Adele's "25," which are not even close on any level to touching TPAB.
