Feb 2, 2018 1. Do you still work work with Dre in the same lein as always? 2. You tried pretty much everything in your long lasting career. Is there still room for new stuff? 3. Do you use ideas of a song which didn't make it into a final form to another new song? 4. How do you choose your features? 5. How long have you been friends with Beyonce? 6. Do you feel joy or more stress when you work on a new album? 7. What is your opinion on the current state of hip hop? 8. How important is competition for you these days?
Feb 2, 2018 "I try to stick to the same formula" "Our recording proces hasn't changed" Except for letting Dre produce for your album, huh?
Feb 4, 2018 That part about how he approaches albums is what's wrong with how he approaches albums. (paraphrasing) ''do I have this type of song and this one yet?''... that's so f---ing lame. That's not pure. That's not creating what you want to create then shaping it as a piece of work. He's never going to create another great album or something unique again, because he just intuitively sees albums like products which have certain quotas to fill. That's how we end up with forced 'b---- tracks' and s--- which he isn't really feeling, he just feels the album 'needs it', and so creates it to serve a purpose, but you can't hide the fact it's contrived. It's obvious in contrast to the s--- which is authentic, and that's how you end up with an uneven, mess of an album. f---!
