Dec 24, 2018 Today im in the car and my gf asks if she can play her music. This is one of the first times I've let her cause I know musically she's still in her 9th grade emo phase. I like some Emo music (Kid Cudi, MCR etc.) so I'm like how bad can it be right. Well holy f--- its really bad. She's starts off by playing this song and now at this point im ready to snatch the aux cord back but I push thru because I know if I tell her how bad her music is she's gonna get upset and start shi--ing on Drizzy and Kanye, I've been tryin to get her into hip hop and she's liking it for the most part btw. Anyway the next song she plays is this s--- Like she's a cool girl besides this music s--- but idk I might just break up with her it might be easier
Dec 24, 2018 I wouldn't care at all tbh lol my ex gf also had different taste but we just dealt w that and we made a mixed usb in our cars.
Dec 24, 2018 Men and women are different because they’re supposed to be. The last thing you’d want is to roll over in the morning and wake up looking at yourself. Embrace the difference of musical opinion.
Dec 24, 2018 dont be dense lol music actually IS p important to some ppl and longterm, a relationship w someone you dont share music tatses with could be an early flag honestly we can f--- but issa couple checkpoints you gotta pass if u tryna make this dicc exclusive
Dec 24, 2018 maybe u could compile a playlist of songs u both like and listen to that whenever ur together
Dec 25, 2018 It also depends on that other things you do or don't have in common I guess. If you like similar movies, activities, vacation destinations etc etc its easier to overcome the music difference. But if music is a huge part of your life for both and you don't share (many) other things I can see it being a problem even if I don't really feel that way. Tbh I dont think I would fall for a girl that listens to gangster rap lol
Dec 25, 2018 hmm. My gf never the type of girl who wants to play his own s--- in my car but my car doesn't even have usb or anything. You have to make cds to play in my car which is a trouble for her. But she likes popular hits too. She likes rap music. We never have problem as far as music tastes go. It doesn't feel like music would have been a big problem. I mean except that one time in car, when did this disturb you for real ?? Also, agreed with Michael Myers too. Except that gangsta part lol.
Dec 25, 2018 @CSA what I meant w the gangsta rap is that I mostly fall for really girly types lol. Who mostly listen to pop music (which I dont have a problem w at all btw) so I dont really expect my gf to listen to the same stuff I do
Dec 25, 2018 true..although if we dont share the same music taste, that usualllly carries over into their movie taste imo what are you calling gangster rap?
Dec 25, 2018 Where do u live ? Actually, ones who listen to gangsta rap like Pac, 50's songs here can be girly types. I wouldn't date someone listenin' arabesque rap or emo rap which exists in my country even though I never hear or see any examples of that terrible music recently lol.
Dec 25, 2018 Gangster rap was just an example tbh. I meant old school rap. What I mean is, being from NL we got like 80% white girls that dont' like snoop dre etc and dont even have a clue who future and thug are lmao. So its kinda impossible to meet one that does. And the ones that do are mostly girls I don't fall for, since I mostly like 'girly' girls. A good compromise is mostly softer rap and rnb (weeknd/drake etc) but it she can put up w my music I'm fine w listening to maroon 5 and the script every once in a while. See post above , in Holland I never met a girl that likes it except girls that smoke weed etc lol -which isn't a bad thing btw but not for me-
Dec 25, 2018 If she has good p---- and sucks till she swallows the nut let play whatever she wants #rns
Dec 25, 2018 What’s wrong with Simple Plan? It’s the only non rap band I listen to, well that and Nickelback. But I’m weird.
