Nov 24, 2015 https://www.washingtonpost.com/post...ed-create-the-islamic-state/?tid=ss_tw-bottom Great piece! I know this has been a hot topic lately so I thought I'd share it and see your guys thoughts
Nov 24, 2015 I think IS is too corrupt and too easily let's loser virgin muslim kids in the West use it's name. It's also causing too much division against Muslims themselves. They put their own particular sect above all else. They are pretty effective but lack the resolve of true warriors. I think we need the real jihadis like Bin Laden and the old Al-Qaeda back
Nov 24, 2015 Is there anyway we can get a TL; DR? I'm pretty sure it's a domino effect sorta thing and one of the things that really kicked it off was the US ending Saddam's reign. From what I can remember reading elsewhere, Russia advised against it at the time, because those tactics would then leave Iraq in a state of anarchy/just chaotic in general. After that something something Iraq turned to s---, something something sects of varied islamic interpretations rose, along with militant/rebel groups, one being ISIS. something like that right?
Nov 24, 2015 You should really read it if you're interested m8 lol it's honestly not that long. Essentially though yes, the U.S. ending Saddam's regime had a huge part in why ISIS exists today and why they are so efficient. This article goes more in depth about what specific policies the United States implemented after the invasion caused Al-Qaeda/ISIS to be born.
Nov 24, 2015 I know, I should stop being lazy. But it's just like, i've looked into the whole ISIS creation before and there's so many different little details It turns me off reading lol. THink will have to read for a better understanding though.
Nov 24, 2015 Well, all I can say is USA definitely is a reason for all the violence in the Middle East, simply because they benefit from those things some how. Don't wanna talk too much about those but
Nov 24, 2015 I read an interesting article the other night about how Bashar al-Assad formed isis in US run refugee prison camp in iraq (i think) Assad was a just a preacher at the time and among the few hundred thousands in the camp, he formed an allegiance with some of the gees' and they wrote each others contact details on their boxer shorts and then once these animals were released back into the wild that was where it all started.
Nov 24, 2015 It's common knowledge that ISIS is US funded as has been since the start. I mean just watch the videos of them dropping arms to them and see for yourself... see Putin say it himself. They are trying to create hatred everywhere, keeping people dumb with patriotism and making them believe what ever the media tells them is right and can be no other way. The whole world is being mentally r---d by false info in order to distort perception of what's really going on. They let and fund things like the Paris attack happen which makes us mad so they have our consent to do illegal things like invade Syria for oil, like they did in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, Iran will be last. It's not even a matter of convincing people anymore it's down to who ctually gives a f--- about the direction the world is going in.
Nov 24, 2015 ISIS was an Al-Qeada branch before they branched off and called themselves ISIS. I know Al-Qeada existed before the Iraq war.
Nov 24, 2015 i'm jk.. it really says some stuff about how USA funded ISIS this whole time and americans are responsible, etc etc typical stuff
Nov 24, 2015 ISIS is multiple terrorist groups formed into one, aren't they? Didn't they sort of absorb Al Qaeda (or vice versa?)
