Sep 13, 2017 That I feel are an encouraging start to either dip your toe in or further your interest outside the genres. I tried to avoid anything to experimental or heavy sounding and I tried to avoid artist/albums I felt the majority may of heard (No tame impala no James Blake no mac demarco no twigs etc) These aren't the 10 best albums but do not be fooled I enjoy them very much and hold them in high praise. Here you are: Ariel Pink - Before Today (2010) Deerhunter - Halcyon Digest (2010) Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell (2015) Natalie Prass - Natalie Prass (2015) Arcade Fire - The Suburbs (2010) Beach House - Teen Dream (2010) Grimes - Visions (2012) Lykee Li - I Never Learn (2014) Mitski - Puberty 2 (2016) Fiona Apple - The Idler Wheel... (2012) If you take the time to try any of these that are unfamiliar to you let me know what you thought! Share your thoughts on any you've heard! I am a member to collaborate, listen to opposing views and spread music. I know I am often harsh with how I articulate these but I swear it's just the bipolar and hope you can look past it and give these a go!
Sep 13, 2017 Give it a try it's fairly short (30 min) digs into depression, unrequited love and emptiness. Indie rock vibes
Sep 13, 2017 Oh so now you're willing to suggest music You could've done this in the other thread instead of acting like an a------
Sep 13, 2017 Actually reads as something I could find as binaurally-digestible. I'll consider it. Gotta work in a few minutes, but maybe later.
Sep 13, 2017 S&s? Sufjan? That is probably my favorite of every album I listed. It hits deeper than anything I've ever heard real raw emotion and it puts death in perspective the cycles of grieving and not being sure if you had anything more to give to the world. Hauntingly BEAUTIFUL none of the corny x s--- IF ANY OF YOU ARE HESISTANT ATLEAST TRY CARRIE & LOWELL
