I have heard many people say K Dot is overrated. I have my own opinions, so do you. I wanna hear what you guys have to say, I just ask that you respect each other. At the end of the day, we are all different. And we all have different ways to look at certain things.

He's deep enough but simple so a wide audience can enjoy him, I hate overly deep nerds like Lupe

Nah he's great. The more popular you get the more overrated you become. It's simple mathematics.

    No.
He has a voice which can be annoying at times but he's one of the most lyrically creative rapper's i've ever heard.

wouldnt say he's "overrated" but i think he does a lot of pandering to plebs in his music that make his music seem more impressive than it is
a bunch of his flow changes & subject matter choices do seem kinda contrived these days

KENDRICK IS THE GREATEST RAPPER EVERRRRRR. IF TUPAC WAS ALIVE, PAC WOULD BE WORKING AT MCDONALDS BC KENDRICK IS SO GOOD. EVERY SINGLE WORD KENDRICK SAYS IS AMAZING, I MEAN HAVE YOU EVER HEARD A RAPPER SAY THE WORD "b----". HE'S SO INNOVATIVE, IT JUST MAKES ME CREAM MY PANTS

Cornball Kenny is awesome. I love him, however, IMO he is overrated. He really only has once classic album (GKMC) and a handful of GOAT features but he is 1/4 when it comes to classic albums.

I feel like after awhile people just automatically started saying everything he releases is good, or a classic. I got tired of d---. very quick and the only song I go back to still is FEEL. But I still go back to To p---- a Butterfly frequently. When Good Kid Maad City came out I didn't really feel it as much as everyone else. Took me about two years for it to really click. Which is strange because I remembered really liking Section 80 alot when it first dropped.

But back to the main topic, I feel like Kendrick is overrated in the sense that you aren't really allowed to say how you really feel about his music unless you want to start a shitfest. He's an artist who definitely puts in the hard work, but we really gotta stop immediately calling anything this man releases a classic.

exactly this, the reason hes seen with such high regards has more to do with the competition/current state of rap than his own skills. Put kendrick in the early 2000 and he wouldnt be regarded as the best or one of the best either.

Yea as a rapper he ain't the best, alot of his concepts are pretty contrived as well TBH, but he does put in work and make good music, he's like a level up from Kanye, does have some great feats doe
