As in I believe given motivation he could handedly cook any rapper on the planet right now

Is he right now the farthest ahead of the pack as far as rap ability that anyone has ever been?

Who else could compete...prime Em gets a good rep for being brutal on records directed at people but at the same time he was dissing pop stars and general nobodies who couldn't defend themselves anyway

feel like Kenny could take anyone throat rn tbh (it'll never happen because everyone is too respectful now so they just throw sublims) so this is all hypothetical

So he's a victim of his era

U don't think Kdot stacks up against past eras were quality of bars and competition was higher?

starting to see more people like you out and about. Kendrick's catalog competes with history right now so that whole attempt to delegitimize what he's doing by pointing out his subpar competition is outdated and non-applicable. Kendrick is the 7th greatest imo and I compare his s--- to the competitive greats. An example is I think he's surpassed Raekwon.

How do you think Kendrick stacks up as far as bar for bar if two were to throw down in a hip hop feud tho

While Chef's rhyme schemes are fire and when he got going very few could f--- with him, I ultimately think lyrically Kendrick is better and the flow is up there because he has so many. They even out tbh but the biggest thing for me is variation. kendrick has so many styles whereas Kwon had one flow and while it was dope he cant keep up with kenny.

Well okay but using this logic alone this would put Kenny over someone like DOOM who granted is a great artist but only has one true style as well and I don't think could articulate personals and attacks like a more aggressive oriented MC like Kdot.

The notion that DOOM has one style is a fallacy

Find me a rapper who would murder a beat like Kon Karne and Kon Queso the way DOOM did. Two different flows, cadences, styles

Or better yet find me a rapper who could take the assortment of beats on Madvillainy and make it a classic. Do you know anyone who could effectively destroy Rhinestone Cowboy. That beat is so hard to rap over.

Until he starts off a song with "That's why I f----- your b---- you fat MFer" or "Only reason I dissed you in the first place is because you denied seeing me. Now I'm pissed off", I don't think so.

He's not exactly a battle rapper. His strength is that he makes better, more ambitious music than everybody else. Remy Ma the hardest hitter out right now since Joe Budden can't even eek a response out of Drake. s---, Drake could prob big brother him and call him a nerdy munchkin. None of it matters because diss records are obsolete.
