Dec 27, 2017 In terms of listenablity and how enjoyable the songs were/are/ to me to just listen to: 1. The Monster 2. Love the Way You Lie 3. River In terms of... songs, like the song content and the end result of them being what they are... 1. Love the Way You Lie 2. The Monster 3. River I know I'll get flamed for ranking River last twice, but I just don't care about it. I don't feel like listening to it or find it compelling. But it's probably unfair in that it feels like such a retread, sonically, Em's vibe, it feels like a deception because it's so formulaic in them trying to just replicate LTWYL type thing. So because of that, I kind of resent the song, I find it annoying.
Dec 27, 2017 True. Ed is almost overbearing though, feels more like an Ed song. Also found Em way more enjoyable on both other songs. Find his Monster verses very enjoyable even to this day.

Dec 27, 2017 Love the way you lie was HUGE - used to actually come on in clubs when I was at University and not be ‘nostalgic without me eminem’. Monster was less played but better all round. Em’s verses were dope plus a sick video. River COULD have been better but Em’s uninspired abrasive verses don’t do the potentially excellent Sheeran hook justice.
