Meh definitely. Forgettable performances & mixed horrendously, but not offensive enough for me to label it bad.

The first 25 seconds of Em's verse were unbearable but mainly cause of the flow he used to start. He definitely redeemed it at the end though

From my post in the Nas album thread:
And for the record, I quite enjoyed the most recent Eminem project.

Bit disappointing for the clash of titans it could’ve been, but... probably would’ve rated it ‘bad’ if it weren’t for these two unique flows / patterns:

It seems I'm eatin' you B-I-T-C-H-E-S like tortilla chips
Me, I'm free up to green like chias on chia pets
This is the effects of my whole neighborhood
Misery index, poverty, it is people staling and PTSG
I guess, R.I.P. out to DMX, Jeez Louis and MC Ecstasy
And Biz Markie B, and do my hit 50 via text
'Cause I don't even know when I'ma see 'em text
    Tomorrow could be death

    &

I just pray for the day when I'm able to say
That I'm place with the greats and my name's with the Kanes and the Waynes and the Jays and the Dres and the Yes
And the Drakes and the Jakes and the Jade, it's Cool J

There was even a nice beat switch up somewhere in there, but the song’s a pass for me.

Nas probably thought em is gonna come hard and forced a fast flow too..

Eminem verse is all over the place. But the worst part is u can hear its phoned in.

Some cool parts but the fast rap, cringy lines and bad quality is a huge step back again after he took a few forward w mtbmb.

Dissappointed in both of them (this song) tbh they didn't take this serious. Some phoned in, rushed bs. Probably a Meh but going w bad because how much they f----- this up.

This seems to be what we all say about all of his verses recently. The majority of the verse sucks (usually the start) but it get’s good/bearable towards the end. We have to try and justify part of it by saying ‘it got better towards the end’ or ‘the middle portion saved it’.

What happened to this guy. He used to have nothing to rap about. Now he just straight up cannot rap properly any more. His current stuff makes Relapse look like some of his prime stuff. He wasn’t rapping about anything (apart from Deja Vu), but at least what he was saying flowed like magic. I’ll take great flowing rhymes about nothing over stop/start, broken flows that are “technically” great.

youll take great flowing rhymes about nothing over start stop broken flows that are "technically" great....i dont think you even understand what it means for a verse to be technical. but besides that almost every line is a double, and he constantly goes in and out of him talking about his come up, to battle type lines....wtf else do you want him to say? ppl act like " EM you used to have AMAZING CONTENT." He talked about his family issues, growing up, and the backlash for his controversy. and outlandish killer lines. now he talks about his come up, his legacy, and backlash from critics and gets his battle bars off.

some of yall have nostalgia goggles on for those first 3 albums of his. Theres nothing wrong with his flow on this, so what he finds different pockets? he rides the f--- out of the beat in every one. when you say hes not saying nothing....wtf do you want? like i said hes going back and forth between his come up, legacy, s--- talking and current events. wtf does any other rapper do thats not in the same ball park? Nas talks about his legacy, money, his past in the projects, and mafiaso refrences and current events. they both did the same thing except their styles are different.

One chance for a verse with nas and it was trash, killer remix flow, I don’t wanna pick pocket some lines, but this went way off from MTBMB side b
