Jun 26, 2017 I bought a Switch as birthday present, along with breath of the wild a hardback case and tempered glass screen protector, I was never really a big Nintendo fan, so I'm looking for some recommendations as to what to get as well.
Jun 26, 2017 Bump, I'm thinking of Bomberman R, Mario Kart 8 and joy con grips, if anyone knows of any fun games that are multiplayer with a single pair of Joy cons I would be appreciative.
Jun 26, 2017 She's not really into rpg's bar zelda, I might get it for myself tho, deffo gonna get Mario kart, haven't played one in years, we had great fun emulating CTR lately
Jun 26, 2017 thats pretty much all you get to choose from right now i got shovel knight on it thats p cool. and puyo puyo tetris but yea its pretty slim pickins right now
Jun 26, 2017 The big one was Zelda anyway, haven't had a Nintendo since the snes so don't really know much other than the big franchises, had a look at Tetris looks alright, thanks
Jun 26, 2017 I know I'll want a Switch when that new Mario game comes out, but idk if I can justify buying a console just for that... I'm glad botw was on Wii U also. I heard there might be a Pokémon rpg for Switch, that'd be really tempting
Jun 26, 2017 Wouldnt recommend it rn unless portable is really your thing. I got it for mario kart 8 which is dope portable using the lil joycons but if you're happy with MK/zelda on wii u yeah hang on. They'll probably relase a bundle with another game before christmas. ARMS isnt that great. Id recommend anyone who doesnt have a switch to wait for one but then again the stocks are limited so idk depends how bad you want the new mario i guess
Jun 26, 2017 that's good to know, coming from someone who owns a Switch, thanks. I think I'll wait a while then, I could wait for the new Mario a long time if needed, I think I bought the Wii U 3 years late when Mario Maker came out.. then I went back and bought Smash Bros and stuff
Jun 27, 2017 Xenoblade, Mario kart & Zelda are worth buying a switch. f--- what everyone playing on PS4 & xbox
Jun 27, 2017 Binding of isaac afterbirth+ And the obv mk and zelda Thumper is a really great rhythm game too
Jun 28, 2017 One for the future, I'll see how bomberman and MK go down first, I'd buy that pack with the joy cons and the snipperclips packed in down the line, nearly 100 euro for them :/
Jun 28, 2017 Disgaea 5 Complete - If you aren't opposed to weeb aesthetics and don't mind tactical RPGs, this game should keep you content for a long time. It has a shitload of mechanics, but it's quite forgiving so you can pretty much play however you feel like. A lot of said mechanics don't matter until post-game anyways. Speaking of which, the game carries stats over so you can pretty much play forever. Not that you probably want too, but it's a neat addition. Thumper - Intense rhythm game with surreal visuals. Difficulty ramps up after a bit. PS4 and PC versions support VR, so consider if you have a HMD whether or not you prefer immersiveness over portability.
Jun 28, 2017 The switch isn't for me, I bought it as birthday present for my girlfriend, she's not really into rpg's other than Zelda, I was originally just looking for recomendations as to what to get outside of Zelda, games and accessories really, I ended up buying Zelda, Bomberman R, Mario Kart, Joy con gamepad grips, tempered glass screen protector and a carry case.
Jun 28, 2017 Is anyone buying that SNES Classic for $79.99 in Sept. ?.. I'm waiting for that pre-order
