Should be an incredible two-night event, NJPW has delivered big time on every single show this year

@WrestlingBros who do ya'll got in the tournament?

I want to say Kenny but part of me thinks they'll throw a curveball and elminate him first round like they did in the New Japan Cup

Elgin would be a safe option and he just did the job for Cody at Dominion too

I don't think it will be Omega, he's too big for a midcard title. I'm gonna go with Zack Sabre Jr.

bro they got Hiroshi Tanahashi (aka John Cena of japan) as the "mid card" champion right now and he's easily the biggest name in the entire country

mid card titles are important over there tbh

I think Elgin is winning this but honestly I would love for Naito to win this thing and have Elgin or Juice defeat him the day they air the g1 climax finals.

So Omega/Page and Naito/ZSJ are very likely to happen. Almost certain that it'll be Omega/Naito for the title, with Omega winning. If he doesn't, it's pretty much a lock that he takes G1. Idk how he could lose to Elgin after the Okada match.

I'd put the title on Naito. Gives him the win back from last years match, elevates him back to Tanahashi's level. Omega is untouchable at this point and G1 is the next big show(s) anyway.

@Kon this is how good WWE would be if they let the wrestlers have freedom of what to do/say

as Austin said the other day, even Stone Cold wouldnt get over in this managerial style
