So about 6-7 months ago I bought a new car and decided to invest a few grand in the car audio department. It came stock with an 11 speaker BOSE system but it really wasn't good enough and had nothing on the car audio of my previous car.

I got dbdrive front and back door speakers (fronts with tweeters) and 2 6x9s for the rear shelf. Memphis amp to power all speakers and the 2 dbdrive Euphoria 12" subs, which I can cantrol with a dial tucked under the steering wheel.

Topped it off with a custom boot package that is neat af. Dbdrive offers a very true sound, meaning you hear what the engineers create in the studio. I also have a dope personalized plate that ties into the music theme but don't want to post it.

Please share your own as this is an area of genuine interest to me, I love seeing others peoples car audio and getting their opinons on different brands.

The best thing you could do is pay to have them professionally fitted and tuned for ypur car. My first system cost me $1500 and i had a mate install them on the cheap, but a year later I got a new head unit and had a professional reinstall the amps and subs and tune them all properly and the difference was very noticeable.

This system I spared no expense. AUD$4,100 fully installed and worth every penny imo. Even driving to work I have a huge smile from ear to ear. However if you're American you could probably get the same thing for like $2k. Everything in Australia is so expensive

It's easy to fit the speakers yourself, the only thing I'd get a professional for is the head unit, amps + tune and any kind of custom boot package for the subs. Plus if you f--- up and blow your speakers you've wasted a lot of money. If they do it their work will come with a warranty and your gear will be protected.

Both dbdrive and memphis are great brands, and ones you might not have heard of over your more mainstream Alpines/Kenwoods/Pioneers/etc.

My mustang has the Mach 100 system, which for a stock audio system is phenomenal. Has four subs, two in the front and two in the back, and it also came with two amps.

How does it go? I just upgraded from an 04 Commodore (Chev if you're an American) and I am in love with the new V8 Mustangs. If I earned just a bit more money I would have got one.

It's pretty decent. It's a V6 (I know "IT'S NOT A V8 BRUH", but I got a great deal on it and it was in great condition). It's certainly not as fast as a V8 but it's still fun af to drive. And it's a V6 premium so it has every option from that model year (even a moonroof which is rare af in mustangs from that body style).

    Are you Australian?

That's dope. My last car was a V6 and also very fun to drive. I'm not the kind of person to judge someone for "only" driving a V6. My new car (in OP) is my first V8 that I've owned.

Yeah I'm an aussie, the new Mustangs are only available in the 4 or the 8 here.

Yeah lol I'm just used to the judgement bc in America if you drive a non-V8 mustang you somehow have to apologize for it.

What kind of car is the one in the op?

And yeah same, for the 2018 year in America Ford got rid of the V6 bc of poor sales numbers? We got the 4 option starting the 2015 model year, but if I'm not mistaken it was either Australia or Britian that has had the 4 option for awhile now.
