any advice for someone aspiring to start rapping? Recently I’ve been thinking about this a lot and I really wanna attempt to make s--- happen. If I never pop off that’s cool cuz at least I tried, but I swear I can write more lyrical s--- than so much I hear nowadays.. personally I think my biggest issue is constructing songs that flow well tbh. Hip hop is really my biggest passion (that and writing) so I have this feeling that I should chase after it.

There's no real blueprint or shortcut to being a good rapper, my only advice is to practice until you stop sucking

This but I’ll add don’t release your music every time you make a song. You’ll be proud and excited to share it but chances are it’s gonna be s--- and you’ll look back on it as you get better and realize that it’s s---. Forums are gonna be an echo chamber of 50% people telling you they love it cuz they like you and 50% people telling you it’s s--- just to be negative. Barely anyone will give you honest feedback so work on making songs and getting better and find a select few people who can be 100% honest with you.

I’m not saying don’t share ANYTHING here, but really work on your craft and make a dozen songs or so before you share anything here. Then make a couple dozen more and come back again.
