Film Breaking Bad Movie

    “Breaking Bad” may have had its finale in 2013, but Variety has confirmed that series creator Vince Gilligan is working on a new film with ties to the beloved series.

    Gilligan is working on a two-hour film, though whether it’s destined for multiplexes or television is unclear.

    Details are sparse, with no information on what shape the movie would take — a prequel like “Better Call Saul” or something else — or whether any of “Breaking Bad’s” stars will return. The Albuquerque Journal includes a logline stating the film “tracks the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom.”

    The Journal also reports the title as “Greenbriar,” though whether that’s the final title is in the air as well. Production in the Duke City is scheduled to begin mid-November through early February, according to the Journal.

    Hmm...if this is a new story with whole new characters just in the same world with some parallels and maybe indirect references, then cool..if it's a sequel to BB, keep it.

    At some point you just gotta let the franchise die. That's why BB is so good through and through, it didn't overstay it's welcome

    Heisenberg died, but what about Pinkman? His story was left open ended, also there's Gene/Saul out there. If I had to guess this movie will tie BB and BCS, a grand finale if you will. That wouldn't be as bad as you think it would. I'm all in for it.

    Pinkman story is all we need as a closure for the franchise.

    Well since the whole thing around Andrew Lincoln leaving Walking Dead was all a publicity stunt so they could make movies, I'm not surprised this is happening.

    They been promoting that s--- since before the new season even started, that it was Andrew Lincoln's last season. Everyone assumed his character would die and last week's episode was all about that, him dying.
    But he ended up being saved by a random character and they flew off into the distance in a helicopter, so now there will be 3 new TWD movies with Andrew Lincoln as the star. The whole issue was that Andrew Lincoln was away form his family too much. They live in England and TWD is shot in Georgia, US. So I'm assuming those 3 movies with Andrew Lincoln might be shot in the UK.
    Load of bs tbh, should've just killed him and let the series get cancelled next year lol.

    Am interested in a Vince Gilligan movie though, hopefully it's not going to be about any of the Breaking Bad characters.
    Nacho and Kim from Better Call Saul are proof that new characters in this universe can work quite well.
