    True, Radioactive with Yelawolf's attempt to go radio was wack af (I blame Shady Records for this)...

    Trunk Muzik 0-60 > Radioactive, even tho it has a very few good songs on it

    So i actually sat down and listened to this. Before this, I'd only ever heard Trunk Music 0 - 60 (which I thought was interesting and showed potential) and Radioactive (which was really bad). Love Story is... interesting. Not at all what I expected. I went in with an open mind and I gotta say, there's actually some good music on here, some that fulfills the promise he showed on Trunk Muzik. Til Its Gone and Box Chevy V were big standouts, amongst a few others. I like how it builds an almost old-school hip hop feel at some points by meshing genres.

    But while I appreciate the effort, a lot of this album just falls flat, especially the second half. The country singing is absolutely not for me and there's a lot of it. Also it's obvious he's trying to tell some kind of story but it doesnt really make any sense. There are a lot of very cringy moments on here. Best Friend is an atrocity. It sounds like he was trying to do way too much at once. Although I may have been a lot more interested if this had been his debut instead of Radioactive.

    As for it being a decent Shady Records project, yeah I guess that might be true, considering the label's other recent releases. But it falls way behind anything released in the label's prime. I mean even 50's worst albums are better than this. Can't see myself returning to this outside of few singles but I am glad I gave it a listen.

    Trial By Fire is even better. Cuts out all the fat that Love Story had and there aren’t any jarring juxtaposition tracks like the country vs hip hop ones that there were on Love Story. You should check it out.
