Oct 9, 2020 I'm very f----- and am wanting to share some really iconic parts of Australian history with you all. Below is Eric Bana playing him in the cult classic movie about him: This is Mark "Chopper" Read, easily our most famous criminal who made international headlines multiple times, especially for this interview - he was also played by Eric Bana in a movie about his life. He cut off his own ears to get out of H Division (the worst part of our worst prison which no longer exists as it was dubbed too inhumane), in this particular interview too he forcibly plays Russian Roulette with the journalist, when she says she doesn't want to play he says "bad luck" and pulls the trigger of a gun that apparently actually was loaded. She was also ballsy though, at one point she says "you don't have ears like Mickey Mouse do you", to which he replies with a rifle over his shoulder "if I shot you in the kneecap we'd be entering Logie (Australia's Emmy) territory wouldn't we, ya cheeky bugger". For hobbies he says he enjoys shooting rabbits and also adds "I know a lot of human rabbits too". When asked what he'd consider his job/profession to be he says garbage/waste disposal as he disposes of what he deems garbage/waste. He adds his preferred method of torture is the removal of toes with a blowtorch as he found doing it with a boltcutter "poofy" (gay) if I remember correctly. In regards to the apparent 25 contracts on his life he says "there's two serious ones, the rest are all jokes ... just for a giggle". Depending on how f----- I continue to get over the next few days and how people react to this I my continue with more of our country's gems. @Fire Squad I'm tagging you twice today deal with it b----, @Australia, @Koolo, @Donkey Kong Cuntry @Ricky @Michael Myers @anyone else, take a few minutes out of your day to witness the most loveable psychopath in history.
Oct 9, 2020 You Australians are different breed of pooftas, I admire all of you c---- tho. This dude looks like he means business, f--- that, I wouldn't try him
Oct 9, 2020 "Yep, I'm a crack shot." After he shoots the bottle out of the kids hand is one of my favourite moments in history.
Oct 9, 2020 Watch the whole thing, at the end is the Russian Roulette bit where he literally pulls the trigger on the journalist. And also his laugh is so evil.
Oct 9, 2020 With his smile/laugh haha, I've met a few of our crims but I never got to meet Chopper my dad did though briefly. The footage of Eric Bana spending a day with him to learn about him for the movie is iconic. "When's this coming out?" The year 2000. "The year TWO THOUSAND? THE YEAR TWO BLOODY THOUSAND?!"
Oct 9, 2020 I also love when he's explaining all his scars then turns around and there's the gun dacked hahaha
Oct 9, 2020 It took me way longer than i had rather to admit to realize your talking about the country not the poster
Oct 9, 2020 Big Chop Chop fan here the movie is a classic if u haven’t seen it, you gotta go watch it asap
Oct 9, 2020 Gotta check this out. The most recent Australian movie I watched was The Interview which was terrific and has a very unique feel to it, especially when I think of similar American movies and how they would do this one in particular. Great movie and one of the few decent additions Netflix has made in the past months.
Oct 9, 2020 Holy s---, Eric Bana doesn't even look like Eric Bana here lol Makes me think of Hardy being Bronson as well.
Oct 9, 2020 It's probably his best performance. It's actually a short movie too I feel like an hour for memory. Quick and straight to the f---in point that's for sure And some absolutely classic lines in it
Oct 9, 2020 "Why would I bloody s---t a bloke, then whizz him off to the hospital at 100 mile an hour? It would defeat the purpose of having shot him in the first place. What am I bloody Chopper bloody Medicare Read?"
Oct 9, 2020 Shoutouts to Ned Kelly. Looking forward to you chronicling Carl Williams or the Moran brothers next
