Oct 25, 2020 these singles did amazing things for building EA hype, even got videos which is off because there’s yet to be a video for any song on ea or ea deluxe months in. these 4 songs are arguably his best songs and though I came out overall pleased with the more Wayne like rappity version of the album, I wish he would of kept this vision for it. Sanguine is his best song to date prove me wrong

"Hit the shower you might stink" like really ? that's part of one of his best songs. Okay, I guess like you said I might be old enough to not get this. Oct 25, 2020 Hard disagree, I think Eternal Atake is easily his most experimental. I don't think there's anything really experimental with LIR or LUV vs. The World. And on that note... EA is mos def his best with LIR2 in a close second. I don't get why people cape so hard for the OG LIR, it's good but everything he did after that besides perfect luv tape blow it out of the water. I get why people like LUV vs. the World cuz it's a good tape, but I don't think it holds a candle to LIR2 or Eternal Atake. Why does that line disqualify it from being a good song? I mean what is specifically wrong with it in or out of context? It's a throwaway bar at worst lol. You can cherry pick much worse lines from all of your favorite 90s-2000s rappers. Regardless, the songs in OP are great but I wouldn't use them to try to get someone into Uzi.

Oct 26, 2020 Songs in OP fire but nothing can top LUV Is Rage 1. Paradise, Super Saiyan, Banned From TV, 7AM all certified classics. Nothing he has done can come close to these songs imo.
Oct 26, 2020 I remember the day EA dropped and first listened to it. I f---ing ascended and after that I got so drunk that I passed out in the metro and it took me 2 hours to get home. It's a great album and it's a shame that he got snubbed by every award show ever. Also LIR2 has basically no bad songs and features a lot of his most iconic ones (XO, The Way Life Goes, 20 Min). So I would agree with Jeans, even though his old stuff is with no doubt fantastic too.

I just think he was everything he is now, but more of a Street and Philly eccentric and flamboyant cat trying to etch his name over the 2015 Climate of Mainstream Music. That sufficed to me. I get why people feel like he evolved. But I'm not liking how L.U.V. is Rage is getting this underwhelmed reception now like he hasn't aged well or something. That couldn't be anywhere near further from the truth. Js.

Oct 26, 2020 I should say that more specifically I wouldn't use those songs to get someone like @kumcrazy or @aleeex1972 into uzi because they seem to dismiss a lot of newer rap. They're great examples for someone who is more open to trap/newer rap. I'd prob start with some of the catchier, less out-there basics for peeps who post largely in Em threads:
