Following up my previous album comparison threads:
We are onto the next edition which consist Black Hippy members ScHoolboy Q and Jay Rock. In the past 2 years they have dropped a studio album each. Both albums took a couple of years in the making to finally come up with a final product (one taking longer than the other), as both started recording their album in 2012.

    Oxymoron (2014)

ScHoolboy Q released Oxymoron early in 2014, with anticipating songs like Collard Greens and Man of the Year which built up the hype, Q released a 12 track album with a few bonuses, full of gangsta rap, the crip life and being addicted to drugs. I really enjoyed this album, with my favourite song being Studio! The tracklist was kind of short, I didn't find too many album fillers, I like when artists do this a lot. I enjoy listening to this album more than I do with Habits & Contradictions and may not be the only with as his album sales increased tremendously, selling almost 100x more than his previous album with over 400k copies sold in the US. The Break the Bank rapper had a "break" out year with this project.

    90059 (2015)
Jay Rock, at long last released his studio album 90059 after 4 years! We've all been waiting so long for this and all he gave us was 10 tracks!! A few people weren't quite satisfied with this, however, I'm not fussed about this at all. In those 10 tracks he delivered! Naming his album after the zip code of the street he grew up on, Jay Rock revisits some of the events in his life. Tracking back to when he grew up and tried to get by in Necessary to reliving some of his success off good kid, MAAD City with Money Trees Deuce. No fillers on this album for mine, delivered a satisfying amount of good songs in the space of 10 tracks. Really like this project. The song 90059, wow!!

90059 doesn't have The Purge, Blind Threats, h--- of a Night, Break the Bank or Man of the Year, so Oxymoron wins.

Oxymoron had great highs but too many fillers imo, so my vote goes to 90059

Both were huge disappointments in comparison to their previous efforts / potential.

I think Jay Rock got this one though...

As of right now, I'd say Oxymoron.
The highs were better, there were more memorable moments, and there's only one bad song out of 17 tracks tbh.
