Is it just me, or is Young Thug starting to cool down a little bit? His Youtube Videos aren't getting many views (Relationship has been out for 5 days and has 1.6M), His album sales haven't increased, and he isn't putting out a lot of music.

Does anyone else see this too, or am I alone? For me personally I prefer his old style (Barter 6-SS3), but I still love the music he's put out recently. I just feel like he needs to put out more music and be more in the spotlight, because I would be disappointed if he fell off.

always been a management issue w/ thug

plus his projects are pretty poorly put together and badly promoted & the communication w/ his fans is super confusing (announcing fictional projects, did he even release a debut album? i cant remember)
he shoulda blew up to superstar status in 2014 kinda think the window has passed he'll prob just have a solid rest of his career now tho if he releases consistently

Its obvious the industry is trying to replace thug right now. All his clones are getting heavy push (Lil Uzi, Sahbabii, UnotheActivist.)

I honestly feel he missed his moment twice.

    1. releasing his debut around the hype of Danny glover, Stoner, All About The Money, & lifestyle

    2. Releasing his debut after the Yeezy Fashion Show:

Now the clones are running wild with his sauce

    "His old style" 2015-2016 lmao....

Any who... He'll be fine. Relationship barely started charting again last week and with the video it could reach the 60s so I'm happy about that.

Yes he's poorly promoted but if you haven't realized by now Young Thug really doesn't give a f--- about outside opinion... It's part of why I love him he's not worried about keeping up or following the industries blueprint. He said he wants to make a perfect debut album and it'll come when he feels he's got it. In the mean time we'll still get a couple projects every year and a load of features

You're reaching so hard....Sahbabii signed yes but who doesn't now a days, he had a pull up wit a stick which could of been a hit and didn't make any real noise in hindsight and instead of putting an album out with what hype he did have what'd they do? Wait a while and re-release sandas... so what heavy push?

unotheactivist cmon....no one outside of forums knows unotheactivist like that nor is his music any more appealing to a mainstream audience than thugs is (thugs probably more appealing tbh) so again what heavy push?

I don't think Uzi and Thug would be compared as much as they are if it wasn't for Thug introducing Uzi to so many people and in return Uzi being supportive of Thug. If you're a fan of one would you more than likely find the other one appealing? Yeah I think so but Luv is Rage 2 proved Lil Uzi Vert is under no one's umbrella and of course he got a push but it's every bit because of him and his music

Uzi is arguably doing everything Thug is suppose to be doing right now (top 10 hit, successful debut album, selling more than 10k with mixtape release's (all of uzi's mixtapes are gold or platinum btw.), Sold out shows and festivals.) He really took thugs lane tbh , he's like a more likable version of thug for the mainstream.
as far as what you said about the other clones, you're missing the point. They still clones with a PUSH. if they make the right record thats a hit , the labels will push them and they'll surpass thug as well.

For thug to come back he really has to go back to his old style we ALL fell in love with. he was in another planet 2013-2015. once he left birdman s--- went downhill quick.

I'd agree Uzi took the lane of likable un predictable oddball but I don't think sonically there is much to compare on Luv Is Rage 2.

By your definition ANYONE whos influenced by Thug is a clone with a push...."if they drop this or do that"..... Why we talking about ifs lol where we stand right now Sahbabii already had a potential hit that did not get pushed hard nor did they capitalize on it by dropping an album.

And Uno is really doing nothing lmfao I think he's just fresh in your mind because he just dropped a tape and sounded a lot like thug on it he has no push or mainstream appeal nor is he at all relevant outside of this type of environment

Sahbabii was even gaining some relevancy due to the Uzi cosign / offset beef and STILL his label did nothing so seriously what "huge push" what push at all

"Pull Up With Dat Stick" is bigger than any song Young Thug has dropped in the last year and a half.

Wyclef Jean / PUTP (Young Thug & Travis Scott feat. Quavo) are more than debatable but whatever you're ignoring every point I'm making about your orginal post lmao WHAT f---ing "HUGE PUSH" I can't help but think you chose to just name drop guys for the h--- of it....goodnight

Pick up the phone was a hit imo. But idk with young Martha tape, I wasn’t feeling it at all... i didn’t get hooked in and it just ends. Very disappointed tbh. He hasn’t made the same music since SS2

Thug won't be a superstar in today's climate because the general public is made up of tasteless plebs who don't comprehend art whatsoever, so it's laughable that you'd judge one of the great creative geniuses of all time by this criteria. Thug's impact will be felt decades from now while majority of the "hot rappers" atm will be nonexistent in a few years.

    Jeffery is Warhol.
