He had his classic run of three albums before becoming an addict and putting out a middling Encore. Then he followed up his hiatus with a drastic turn for horrorcore in Relapse. Then his next three projects were heavily pop-rap influenced that got worse with each release from Recovery to Revival. Not to mention, MMLP2 was also an attempt at a “sequel” to his most popular album. The most recent two albums, Kamikaze and MTBMB, are for all intents and purposes albums based around the idea of “f--- you, I can still rap and I demand my respect.”

So where does he go from here? Does anyone even want another album like his last two again? For f---s sake, please no more fake love songs either.

The albums are a step in the right direction for sure, but you’d be happy with another album covering the same topics?

I’d like him to get like a ten track album done with one producer like Alchemist or something.

Concept albums. He’s already done the response album twice. I still want to see a continuation of the show theme like The Eminem Show/Encore/Curtain Call. Maybe that will be his final album.
No more fast rap too. I'm beyond f---in' tired of that s---. He's ran it into the ground and it's worse than the accents at this point to me.

Honestly I think its time for a new era of Eminem. It's time he grew up a bit and put out a mature Hip-Hop album.

Some of the things id wanna see..

A different approach: as the OP said, we've seen the early horrorcore, shock factor, drugged up, woke, rapity rap etc.. how about a simpler approach next?
External producers: time for a change Em, work with some different producers, maybe slightly old school, DJ Premier for example.
More features: Would love to see Em team up with artists that would bring the best out of him. Nas, Andre 3000, Redman & Method Man, Kendrick..

Maybe the biggest complaint of Em in recent years is his obsession with his fans and critics. He's admitted to trying to please everyone, fast rap, aggressive rap, content etc... Just do you. We know you can rap Em, but your recent stuff, for me at least, is difficult to enjoy. Some of the best hip-hop in the last 30 years doesnt have ultra fast rap with multi-syllable complex schemes full of double or triple entendres, it simply sounds good and connects with us.

we’re on a site where people are asking for the remainder of a leaked phone call from Eminem’s manager that’s nearly 20 years old. Have some awareness

he doesn't have to do anything –– his legacy is basically cemented, his core fan base is always happy to have more music, and he clearly likes working, he should keep dropping at whatever pace he likes

One producer wouldn't necessarily change the topics so not really a solution to your own criticism.

It’s going to be mtbmb from here on out. I don’t really think he has any evolution in him at this point. Concept albums? Doubt it. It feels to me like he records hundreds of songs and then just picks 15-20 that he thinks people will like and throws them on there. Not a lot of cohesiveness. He’s going to keep rapping fast and inaudibly for the rest of his career; to him bars are more important than the music. Hope I’m wrong.

I feel he is going to continue doing more of what he wants now. Just like how MTBMB was inspired by Alfred Hitchcock, we're probably going to keep getting somewhat conceptual albums. As long as he doesn't focus on pleasing everyone and stays up to date with current hip-hop standards the quality of work should stay decent enough that it's still enjoyable for his fans.

Why wouldn't people want this? It's been generally positive reception by post-hiatus Em standard anyways.
