Dec 24, 2020 Neither are really put in top 10 lists and are more known things outside music nowadays but whose more of a legend in your eyes? Snoop Dogg: 1. Dre's first protege 2. Doggystyle is an undisputed classic 3. Helped push G Funk in the mainstream in the 90's and had clones(e.g. Da Brat) blowing up off of his impact 4. Stayed musically relevant for a long time from the Chronic(92) to I Wanna Rock which came out in 09. And still puts out albums to this day. 5. One of the smoothest flows in rap 50 Cent: 1. In Da Club's one of the most known rap songs ever and is the only pre-2010 rap song besides Without Me to hit a billion views on Youtube 2. GRODT is an undisputed classic 3. Helped push Gangster Rap to huge heights with his music and the G-Unit Wave(Banks, Buck, Yayo, and Game's first album) and revolutionized the Mixtape game which others followed 4. One of the more influential rappers from the 2000's on the newer generation besides Kanye and Wayne. 21 Savage just remixed "Many Men" on his latest album and Pop Smoke(RIP) was basically a semi-clone. NBA Youngboy also claims him as a big influence. 5. One of the best hook makers in rap Who's higher on your hip hop list and who do you think will have a bigger legacy? Who's more of a legend in your eyes in the hip hop world?
Dec 25, 2020 Your mom knows who Snoop is. Snoop Dogg for sure. And musically 50 doesn't have an album that touches Doggystyle.
Dec 25, 2020 I personally say Snoop too. Should be noted, though, that Snoop has openly used ghostwriters while 50 hasn't.
Dec 25, 2020 Good, man. Just chillin. Doesn't even feel like Christmas this year. It's 11 degrees celcius outside and it's raining. Usually this time of year it's like -10 and covered in snow. How bout you?
Dec 25, 2020 Basically the same man, just chillin, it's rainy out there. It's just normal day with a lot of food, cheers tho, I know you're sipping on something good
Dec 25, 2020 I'm actually taking a day off today. Been drinking non stop in the past few days. Plus, the stores are closed. Have one for me and Merry Christmas, bro.
Dec 25, 2020 Because I fancied a slap round the face lololol Was basically a satirical post towards OP. Of course it’s Snoop. He’s got too much history behind him... he’s the godfather of rap (kinda) His Doggystyle album is basically GRODT but the 1990’s version. His run is also nearly one-of-a-kind legendary status, 50 only managed 03-07 and then started to fall off. Snoop has reinvented himself like 20 times lol. Off topic, but a versuz battle between the two would be very interesting imo. I prefer East Coast hip hop so I would go with 50 (mixtape tracks would give the edge to fif as well as Get Rich monsters like Many Men, What Up Gangsta and In Da Club)
Dec 28, 2020 All u n----s dumb. It's 50. Nobody gives a f--- about 90 n----s or their legacy anymore. 50 also never attached himself to a religion and paid to be apart of it just to s--- all over it. 10 years ago, sure Snoop, but his legacy's been overshadowed by him telling xbox to fix their servers and he's a weed icon. Nobody, I repeat Nobody is checking for his recent s---. Atleast 50 has a cult following globally, even on his social media's. c---- can post "s--- head lol" and the image of any rapper, its in the news same day. 50s been relevant for his entire career, in some way shape or form. Snoops just sorta their. His most notable thing of recent times is getting kicked out of and banned from my state and his uber eats commercial. Meanwhile 50 cent has like 6 TV series running, being renewed for new season, branching off into prequel sequel seasons etc. Name 1 thing that's remotely cool (artistry wise) snoop has done outside of music... I won't wait cause there's none.
Dec 28, 2020 Come slap my face and I'll fucken murder you and my lawyer will get me off with a self defense payout from your family after your dead b----
