Oct 29, 2016 I never said that lol, don't spin my words. My point is is that American football requires a higher level of toughness than most sports. In the NFL, you have 250 pound guys + pads who can run a 4.6 40 aiming to take your head off. I played Football for 8 years, a lot of the kids I grew up playing with didn't last because they couldn't handle it.
Oct 29, 2016 It's expensive to play. You have to have the right equipment so you don't die. Soccer is more popular worldwide because all you need is a ball and a penchant for flopping when no one touches you
Oct 29, 2016 My favorite argument is when people say, "Oh, those Americans and their pads, what a bunch of p-----s." If they didn't wear that s---, they would literally k--- each other on the field. It's not like rugby and s--- in other countries, these NFL players are a whole different level of freak.
Oct 29, 2016 Because american football is for p-----s and europan for real men who can take a tackle or 2 like Ronaldo
Oct 29, 2016 Yeah, I mean, rugby is a tough a--- sport, but for the most part the collisions are a lot slower. You're not running full speed into a guy the majority of the time.
Oct 29, 2016 Funniest is when they all get on a pile lmao so gay, reminds me of that south park episode where the future people took their jobs and they all decided to be gay
Oct 29, 2016 Contrary to popular belief, it hurts more to get hit by pads than without them. I played my fair share of backyard football throughout the years and it never compared to the actual games I played in.
Oct 29, 2016 I actually was watching Drunk History either this or last week and they had the story of how football first started without pads. There was something like 130 deaths per year lol
Oct 29, 2016 Jesus christ lol. And the size of these guys now, people would die literally every game now.
