Why do people wear suits?

    I think they stupid why do people wear them? Besides companys forcing employees to wear them, what is the point? Is there some scientific explaination as to why you would wear this hot heavy uncomfortable thing?

    Is it so you can easily hang yourself with your tie when you lose a buisiness deal?

    While I'd never wear one just for fun, it's not really that bad when I have worn one.

    I used to hate the idea of wearing a tie but now I have to wear one every day at work and don't mind it.

    Not a big deal really.

    I've never worn a suit before but why wouldn't you wanna wear a suit?

    Wearing suit = looking good, smart, suave, presentable
