Dec 21, 2018 He had a lot of personal s--- to figure out and he got that all out with Ye. Now that hes settled down a bit I feel like hes trying to make his most ambitious project to date. Hes trying to prove that hes not crazy and that hes still got it, like hes had to do several times in his career. Thoughts?
Dec 21, 2018 Ye wasn’t nearly as polarizing or experimental as 808s though. I think the whole “this album is going to be his next insert best album here” concept is a pretty annoying one, as every album will be viewed differently creatively and as well be great in its own respect, whether it has the same level of mainstream appeal or not. Like sure, Ye touches on some deep subjects but not nearly in the same context or way sonically that 808s does. Edit: and wtf is up with the virus lookin a--- links in OP
Dec 21, 2018 I really love Ye, I don't understand the hate for it. I just hope that Yhandi doesn't sound like Yeezus because that album is pure trash
Dec 22, 2018 Yeezus is f---ing trash. There's nothing good about it. Definitely the worst album I've ever heard.
Dec 22, 2018 If you can’t at least enjoy the production I dont really know what to say to you. New Slaves outro, I Am A God beat, the drums on Black Skinhead. If you don’t like Yeezus you’re not a fan of music
Dec 22, 2018 The production is amazing, what I don't like is the "spam". I don't mind aggressive music, but it's incredibly annoying to have 3 different beat playing at the same time in I Am A God. New Slaves, Black Skinhead Hold My Liquor and other songs are amazing. But listening to that album in a single listen hurts my head.
