isnt this more of a vocal technique rather than a flow

whole article seems like a stretch 2 me, the aggressive overly staccato couplets might as well be traced to future's sh!t or any juicy j verse

You're probably correct to call it a "vocal technique," but "Harambe Flow" is the term I've heard people use to describe it colloquially kinda in the same way people call the triplet flow the "versace flow" even though it was used way before that song and before migos themselves used it. But the article was more to chronicle how he's been using a version of that inflection for a long time and how it's evolved to be the centerpiece of songs like Homie and Harambe.

ye i mean from a journalists standpoint i can see y considering the amount of clicks all the "versace flow" articles got

but after a while ppl actually started to use the correct terminology, and this vocal style is by no means as revolutionary in the broader sense

when it comes to articles i appreciate honest and accurate terminology over creating buzzwords

re: the terminology I honestly didn't even think of that when I posted this (I didn't write this, just edited it), and with this site I'm def looking to make one that is accurate and honest over buzzword type shit, so I honestly appreciate the feedback.

But like I said, the article wasn't meaning to imply Thug invented (it mentions Louis Armstrong, Mystikal, DMX, Future, etc), it was just chronicling how it evolved within his own music.

I mean, if we're splitting hairs, it's a "delivery". Didn't really mind how it was referred to. Cool article.
